I'dd just like to thank everyone who responded....
And I must also admit that it's good that there is somewhere I can send
my computer-based fears and terrors..... Usually it's me that gets a call
at 2 in the morning from a friend of mine saying "Help!!! such and such
has gone wrong....lately I've been fielding Win 95 problems with moderate
accuracy (scary because I don't have it.) Whenever I get problems I seem
to have fewer options....
I tried to use the sys c: command but came up against another wall with
"disk full" errors. With visions of death and gloom I ran Disk Doctor yet
again then....what do I see....DIsk Tools....and inside "Make disk
bootable" (which the helpful little help file tells me will work even if
the previous error message has been given....) I do it and thanks to
everybody I'm back in business
Peter Norton is a God.
or as I am oft want to say....
given Norton Utils and Pctools I will soon rule the electronic
world!!! (well if I felt like it....)
so, thanks again.
Neil

I met a Lady in the Meads,
Full beautiful, a faery's child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
And her eyes were wild.
