<Begin Ranma voiceover>
As far as I can remember, I had a normal childhood, until my 13th
birthday then suddenly cold water would turn me into a red-headed girl,
who I called Ranko. (Fortunately, hot water reversed the process).
Ranko is not only a major babe, but she also has amazing martial arts
skills and a personality that is far wilder than mine. Even though we
are the same person, on many occasions my first reaction after changing
back is to wonder why I did the things I did as Ranko.
My parents, Genma and Nodoka admitted that I was an orphan they had
adopted, but they didn't know the secrets of my origins.
But the whole thing is actually Pop's fault, for reasons he's not
telling...
They did
convince me to use my special abilities to fight crime.
But I could only fight crime if I could find it. And so I began my
first day at the Tokyo bureau of the Daily Planet.
<End voiceover>
Cast:
Ranma Saotome: Rookie mild-mannered reporter for the Tokyo bureau of the
Daily Planet.
Ranko: Mysterious Pig-tailed Crimefighter.
Soun Tendou: Bureau chief.
Kasumi: Soun's daughter and secretary, she makes the bureau seem like a
second home to the staff.
Nabiki: Soun's daughter and financial reporter.
Akane: Soun's daughter and star crime reporter. She's annoyed that her
father has asked her to show the ropes to Ranma.
Hikaru Gosunkugi: Photojournalist, most of his pictures have Akane in
them. (grilling the suspect or whatever)
Tatewaki Kunou: Police detective, more interested in catching the
Mysterious Pig-tailed girl than the criminals.
How about Ranko's arch enemies:
The Wanderer, a mysterious martial artist. He knows Ranma's secret ID
and has sworn vengeance on him for reasons unknown.
Tatewaki Kunou's sister Kodachi, who is secretly the supervillainess
known as the Black Rose.
Khu Lon, aged Chinese super-scientist. She also knows Ranma's ID. Her
great grandaughter Xian Pu secretly loves Ranma, but helps Khu Lon out
of filial loyalty.
The notorious Perverted Man... nah, maybe that's a bit much.
"Mysterious Pig-tailed Crimefighter" is a great idea! Write this one,
PLEASE!!!
