For some reason this idea just popped into my head one day, and like
most of my ideas, festered until I did something about it. This is a
teaser, to test the waters to see how well this fic would be received.
Keep in mind I've never read any of the Guyver manga/comics (published
in N. America by Dark Horse, I think), I've only seen the OAV's, so my
knowledge is limited to them. I have seen Iczelion numerous times. This
blurb brought to you courtesy of large amounts of caffine.
Disclaimer: Who are we kidding? If the owners of the copywrites for
Bio-Booster Armor Guyver and Iczelion decide to sue me, this little note
isn't going to stop them. But, I don't have anything anyway, so who
cares?

The Gea closed in on its target, keeping itself carefully cloaked in
subspace. To most the target would seem to be an average, if intense,
young man. But the Gea knew differently.
Actually, 'knew' was the wrong word, as it implied thought processes.
Standard fighting Geas didn't 'think' as such. Their brains were closer
to simple computers, which accepted orders and executed them according
to preprogrammed parameters. Thought was a function reserved for higher
beings, such as Voids and the Master. It would be better to say that its
sensors detected the subspace and psionic fields connected with the
target, which its database indicated were highly atypical for a class A
humanoid. These same fields had attracted its Master's attention in the
first place.
Eventually the target turned off the street he was following, isolating
himself from the other humans. The Gea had been restrained by a
directive to avoid attracting attention to itself or its activities,
lest it alert an Iczelion. The Gea scanned the area the human had
entered, an abandoned lot, and concluded that the discretion directive
had been satisfied. It imediately drew the human into its subspace
pocket.
If the young man was surprised by the sudden change in his surroundings,
he didn't show it. "I've noticed you following me for the past twenty
minutes." He said without turning. "What do you want?"
The Gea registered the claim, and compared it to its database on
Earth-type humanoids. It concluded the claim was most likely false, as
earth-type humanoids did not posses the capacity to perceive into
subspace. Still, due to the target's unusual subspace signature, it bore
reporting to the Master. "*Master Chaos requires you for study.*" The
Gea replied, using the standard preprogrammed response. "*Surrender and
you will not be harmed.*"
The young man turned and smiled, his long hair settling across his
shoulders. "Oh, I don't think so."
The Gea registered the comment as a refusal to comply. It examined it's
options, finally settling on using a low-power electro-blast to
incapacitate the human with a minimum of damage. It raised it's arm, the
triple beam emitters popping out of the back of its hand.
Suddenly the psionic and subspace fields associated with the target
flared. A massive disturbance followed, emitting energy on all
spectrums and scrambling the Gea's sensors. As the interference cleared,
the Gea detected considerable physical changes in the subject. It's
processor began analysing the data to determine if the target's threat
rating should be upgraded. After a millisecond the Gea registered an
energy buildup from the target.
That was the last thing it registered before it was engulfed by a
massive energy blast, searing it into a fine atomic mist.

Agito Makashima emerged from the abandoned lot, brushing dust off the
shoulder of his jacket. "Amateur." He muttered as he continued on his
way down the street.

Well, that's all I got now. This idea germinated from a line of thought
that's run through my mind constantly, namely "Okay, what series do I
know of that nobody has written a crossover about?". This is mainly
because that way I don't get measured against some brilliant fic like "A
Lesson in Love" or one of the other umpteen zillion Ranma/Sailor
Moon/Bubblegum Crisis fics out there. I know my writing isn't up to that
standard (Yet. Like Kirk, I don't believe in the no win scenario), and I
don't want to try an compete in that arena (and get clobbered). This way
I get to write in an area no one has tried before. It lets me practice,
and maybe I'll give someone else some ideas.
C & C me and tell me what you think.
