People have asked about Morisato-Sensei.
(Actually, that seems to be a question everyone has...)
This should answer a few of the questions, although there are a lot of
unanswered ones. The caos this character will create...

Morisato Keiko
Morisato Keiko is one of three school councilors at Furinkan High
School.
Throughout her life, she has been a studious person, trying to
push herself to being accepted at the best schools possible. Attending a
lot of Juku's, her work paid off as Keiko attended The University of Tokyo
and managed to receive a doctorate in psychology at the age of 23.
Concentrating on education as a possibility, she decided to go into
counseling as a career upon leaving school and was assigned to Furinkan
High School a week after graduation.
Since she's been there, the schools reputation as being one of the
most unusual schools has increased, due to circumstances that are beyond
anyones control. At least that is what it seemed like at the time, since
someone had to be manipulating the school board in some way for some of
the circumstances to have occurred. It is a little strange that the
school has a head master that hasn't been seen in almost five years, no
one in the district having decided that he needed replacing as of yet. It
is also somewhat unusual that a number of the new students that have been
arriving have some unusual sets of skills, especially some who excel at
certain forms of martial arts.
Keiko is in the unfortunate position of having to write up all the
incident reports on the fights and other 'unusual' happenings at the
school. It is made all the more difficult since she has to find a way of
putting everything down on paper without alerting the police service as to
exactly what is happening. Even with what normally happens in a Japanese
high school, the number of incidents at Furinkan has been unusually high.
There are times that Keiko has left during the school year,
sometimes without explanation, but all of this has been accepted by the
school district as normal, and since she does her job so well, no one
faults her this unexpected time off. Of course, the fact that no one
else in the school wants the responsibility of making reports on all these
incidents may have something to do with it. Another possible reason is
that it would be difficult to say that she wasn't doing her job since the
headmaster of the school has seemingly never been reported missing.
This is only one of three identities that she maintains.
Morisato Keiko is from a very old family line that has lived in
the Kyoto region since before Kyoto was the capital. Her family's lineage
has a special relationship to that city and to the events that occurred
there over the centuries, in particular, a blood bond that ties them to
government service in special ways. Not all members of the family are
suited to service as a shadow warrior, so serve in other ways, but the
clan to which they belong is very trusted. As has been a practice for
many clans, they have given each child at least two separate identities in
order to help to protect them. Morisato Keiko is what would be called a
Ninja in the west, and has followed most of their traditions to the
letter.
She has been careful to maintain all three identities, her main
one being that of school councilor.
The second identity is the semi-reclusive, semi-successful writer
of cheap romance novels, Fujiwara Sakura. Although hardly ever seen, many
have enjoyed the glimpses of past glories where Samurai protected their
ladies from all danger and the art of poetry flourished alongside the arts
of war. Like her other works, it combines historical fact with humorous
excitement.
The third identity she uses is that of a little seen, but highly
effective private detective, Watanabe Ran. Her specialty is the
investigation of possible matches between couples. Her reputation is if
there's anything to find, she'll find it. There have been many jobs that
she has turned down on the basis of ethics, which has earned her a large
amount of respect.
Finally, she has been a member of the military in the SDF and is
currently listed as on indefinite reserve status. According to listed
records, she suffered an injury during a motorcycle course training
exercise. Few people in the any branch of government service know her
real status as a specialized intelligence/protective agent for the
Japanese military. Keiko has been on many missions during the last
several years, and is well paid monetarily as well as in information and
services.
As a shadow warrior, she is an excellent yogen as well as a
biologist, herbalist, acupuncturist, and philosopher.
After having seen how Ranma did against Kuno, as well as having
noted how well Akane had done for the past several months, she decided to
take both on as her students and made them part of her clan. This in
itself is a rather unusual situation, but Keiko is taking it in stride,
even to creating some new identities for the two of them, although Ranma
and Akane have only been told of Ranma's new alternate identity. She is
intent on teaching them everything she knows and introducing them to the
various ways that Ninja operate in the world.
