Of course there's a reason.  English is a damned evil language!  It's
full of words that sound exactly the same, yet have completely different
spellings and meanings.  i.e. its & it's; you're & your; there, their, &
they're; etc.

You won't find these difficulties within Romantic languages like Spanish
or French.  I can't say about Japanese, though, since I hardly know any.

Mihoshi sees it a disturbing goodly amount.  It's reminds Mihoshi of
Arctic Subbing!  Arctic spells it that way, too! @.@  It's a conspiracy!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Of course it's a conspiracy!  It just exists to make people's lives
miserable.  Especially those people for which these kinds of mistakes
really rub the wrong way, myself included.

Its not going to matter weather or not you correct these mistakes.
They're still going to be made, so your just going to have to stomach it.
In the end, we all loose.  ^_^
