Well, since I don't believe you havent subscribed, perhaps the sys-ops on your
ISP have blocked ZZZfanfic@ZZZfanfic.com as a permissible mail sender for their
host. Firewall style filters could be set that way. Notice that I've changed the
references to the address in the text, although some filters wouldn't search the
text of the message. How could we prove this without drawing their attention to
you further I wonder?
I'm going to send this message twice. Once only to you, Once to the FFML
with a CC to you. If you only get it once, that might be an indication that your
mailing host is blocking FFML addresses.
Why would a mail server do that? I mean, I could understand if they were
firewalling something bad, but this is FANFICTION! I mean, even
including the lemons that are posted once in a blue moon, this list is
rated PG at worst! What, we got a rampant anime hater out there?
It could also be possible that our friend has simply been unsubscribed.
Messages addressed directly to him would come through, but general
fanfic@fanfic.com stuff wouldn't.
