Hi all, Just had a few odd thoughts and I thought someone might find
them useful, I care not if as Inspiration, humor or as a target for ridicule.
1 A little idea for Ranma, suppose there was a situation where Ranma had to deal
with a lot of cats to save Akane from some severe danger, and in the process of
keeping his fear under controll he finds himself able to tap the capabilities of
the Cat fist while retaining his Human intelect. (Though he will aquire a few
feline manerisms etc) The cat fist is a really potent technique in pure
physical terms, but the cat mind it generates dramatically limits it's
effectiveness. IE the first time Ranma manifested the Cat fist in the Manga he
was outsmarted by Kuno.
2 A ranma/gold digger crossover, Ranma either learns about a ancient artifact
that can cure curses, or the Dojo is in real need of funds and they find a map
to an ancient treasure. Anyways there's some competition. See Ranma become the
first human to outrun a Werechetah!(AHH! CAAAATTT!!!) See Ryan Tabot discover a
few more moves his photographic reflexes can't copy, see Erwin 'pee wee' Talon
start drooling when he hears about Jusenkyo, then trips and falls in!
Just scratching the surface on the possibilities. I missed mentioning, Ukyo and
Brianna discussing what it's like to be in love with someone who's in love with
someone else. and Ranma and Genn talking about what it's like to change sexes.
3 A rather dark idea, Ranma gets sent backward in time, and is turned into a
vampire. He eventually returns to japan planing to Grab Akane and bring her
across as soon as the younger him gets temperally displaced. Only an adversary
of his saves his pre undead self.
4 Some event makes an ancient Ghost decide that Ranma is "the chosen one" The
ghost therefore moves into the Dojo and keeps trying to aid Ranma in "fulfilling
his destiny."
5 Ranma is challenged by a mysterious martial artists, specifically this guy has
heard that Ranma knows the cat fist and feels obligated to defeat it with his
own "Fist of the mad dog"
6 Ryouga finds a scroll detailing an ancient and extremely powerful technique
that he works on mastering to use against Ranma. Unknown to him the reason the
technique was forgotten is that it's use tends to turn it's practicioners into
psychotics. Ranma leans this and tries to stop Ryouga's training and reverse
the effects.
