In my opinion, if you wanted to coin a term for a "lesser form of a lemon"
your best bet would be "lemonade".  Take a lemon and dilute w/ water and
sugar.  Not near as bitter and far more palatable (readable) than straight
lemon...

I like a good, "sexy" story.  But to string together a handful of sex scenes
does not make a story worth reading...
