In my opinion, if you wanted to coin a term for a "lesser >form of a lemon"
your best bet would be "lemonade".  Take a lemon and >dilute w/ water and
sugar.  Not near as bitter and far more palatable >(readable) than straight
lemon...

	Another term for a story with implication and situation but not enough 
description to be a true lemon I have run across is Citrus
