I realized i was using my 'get to it' method of writing, and gave my fic a
full review ;) Anyway I got a horrible grammer score, and went back and made
some major format changes. I think that the members of the FFML should be a
bit more used to the format I will use now. Here we go...

BGC Combine

The flashing form of a white hardsuit landed hard on the wet, black concrete.
Asmall grunt was audible as it stood again. It's right arm was missing a
large piece of armor, exposing the forearm and hand of the wearer; the helmet
was decorated with impressions of large fists. The suit wobbled as it backed
into a wall.

"Nene, where did it go?" She said into her systems. She got no response.
With the damage to the hardsuit, the comm system was a likely victim. Sylia
began walking slowly toward where the battle last raged; she did not have any
desire to re-enter combat, but if it was needed; she would. She spotted a
flash in front of her, and as she dodged a particle beam grazed her armor,
causing some of it to melt off. She tested her flight systems and found them
inoperable--she would have to fight her way out of this one. She charged into
the alley and opened fire with her last remaining autocannon. She dived into
another sidestreet just as her ammo was exhausted. The wall behind her
ruptured as a large fist pounded through it. She snapper her left wristblade
open and drove it into the grasping hand, slicing a large section of it off.
She then turned and bolted around the small corner, expertly swinging her
blade. The glowing armblade penetrated deep into the boomer's armor, causing
oily fluids to spew from its inner structure. Sylia drove the blade deeper
into the boomer as it raised its hands high into the air. She withdrew just
as the boomer's arms swept down, with enough force to crush her arm. Drawing
into a massive adreneline rush, she swept across the boomers chest cavity with
her blade, slashing it and causing sparks to fly in all directions. The
boomer quickly backhanded her in the head, leaving another large imprint on
her battered suit. It turned to the side and performed a sidekick that would
have gotten it awards in a martial arts tournement; Sylia let out a muffled
cry as she flew backwards, eventually stopped by a building. She slid down
the wall from a height of seven feet, making her imprint visible. She
collapsed onto the ground, trying in vain to get air back into her lungs. Her
right hand was now bruised down the entire exposed area. She looked up at the
boomer--if she was going to die she would see it coming. The boomer watched
her for a few short seconds, before raising its undamaged hand. A blue glow
began to encompass the muzzle as a charge was built within the weapon. Sylia
stayed perfectly still, and simply watched; she had one chance to kill the
beast and she would have to wait short seconds before attempting it.

Suddenly the world seemed to explode. Sylia heard a sharp whine before a
huge flash of white light blinded her. Her exposed hand felt like fire, and
she was knocked back with extreme force, through the wall.

The boomer looked onward to the area where the explosion had occured. It
briefly considered more Knight Saber intereference, then dismissed it. The
rest of the Knight Sabers were being severely overmatched as well as its own
opponent. The boomer froze, as it detected a figure emerging from the blaze
in front of it The figure continued to walk forward, until it cleared the
fire. The figure seemed like a human; with massive cyberware. The boomer
fired a particle beam at it. The beam lashed through the figure's stomachand
chest area, but the man stood where it was. The boomer took aim at the man's
head.

"You will have no place in the new order. You will not be assimilated. We
are Borg, you will be destroyed." It was the last thing the boomer heard,
seconds after the Borg in front of it had spoken, a massive system crash
ensued; the boomer collapsed onto the pavement. Behind it stood another of
the Borg. It passed the other Borg and examined the wreckage of the two lower
floors of a building.

Sylia began to regain conscience; her head rang as she opened her eyes. she
was greeted with darkness. She tried to move the suit but the systems were
down. She reached up with her injured hand and pulled off her helmet. She
looked up and gasped at what she saw. She scrambled back, against the suit's
weight, until she hit a wall. One of the cyberware enhanced 'corpses' turned
to her and spoke.

"You will be assimilated; resistance is futile." Sylia didn't know what the
term was supposed to mean with her case, but she didn't care. She snapped out
her armblade and assumed a defensive posture.

	"LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKEEEEEE HEEEEEEEEELLLL SHEEEEEEE WILLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!"
The warcry came from the left. A blue hardsuit slammed into one of the Borg,
jumpjets screaming. The suit bolted upwards beyond Sylia's veiwing range,
before a mine detonated on the Borg, causing it to explode violently Several
shimmers of light manifested themselves behind the now fighting Borg, and
several people wearing odd uniforms immediatly ran for cover and began firing
laser weapons at the Borg force. A firefight ensued. Sylia took the time to
stand, just as her suit systems began to come back online. her vision was
clouded by a wave of green; she backed off but hit a wall.

"You will be assimilated." the Borg said, as Sylia was encompassed with a
green field. She lost conscienceness as she began to rematerialize in a
futuristic looking room.

Priss knucklebombed a Borg in the back, before kicking it in the head. It
collapsed onto the ground, dead. A man wearing a red and black uniform
motioned for her to come closer, before ducking behind some cover. She
charged into the now half destroyed building and ducked behind the section of
wall the man was now behind. "Listen buddy what the hell is this?" She said
sharply, motioning to the area where she was just standing. "Listen
carefully, and answer these questions to the best of your abilities." He said
seriously. Priss was about to teach him a few new swearing techniques when he
placed his hand on her shoulder firmly. "Please." He stated it. After the
blue suit of armor remained still for a few seconds, he proceeded.

"Do you recognize the name Khan?" The suit paused for a second.

"No."

"When was World War Three?" Priss had had enough. "Okay you jerk I'm sick of
this bullshit! Now what the hell is going on?" Her tone was harsh and full of
hatred. The man tapped an insignia on his left chest area. "Riker to Picard.
The ship sensors were correct. This isn't our past, this is an alternate
timeline. the borg are beginning to gain footholds already." The response
was audible; The whine of laser weapons mixed with the screams of people was
overpowered only by a driving voice on the other end of the connection. "Then
this was a trap! Damnit! We HAVE to get back to our own timeline to stop the
Borg!"

Commander William Riker responded immediatly and firmly. "Sir, the Borg are
here. We have to stop these or another entire world will be assimilated!"
Priss backed off a step, and called Linna and Nene through her homing becon.
"... How in the hell do they conquer two timelines wi--" The channel suddenly
stopped transmitting. The shimmer of transporters engulfed the street in
front of them. "Open fire!" Riker thundered as he aimed his phaser and fired
a beam of destructive energy at one of the borg. The half machine sparked and
collapsed back.

Priss leaped around the cover and charged into the horde of machines, she
ripped into them with pure physical strength. A borg managed to place its
hand onto her suit surface while she was engaged with another boomer.
Electricity pulsed from the borg's hand, and began to weaken the systems on
the blue suit. Priss screamed a masive warcry as she turned and punched the
machine's head off. She was immediatly attacked and overpowered by over
twenty borg. Struggling and screaming, she was forced onto the ground in the
building opposite of the operatives. Several borg held each of her limbs
firmly to the ground as another extended a needle from its mechanical arm.
The borg slowly put the needle up to an area on the blue suits chest. a small
laser beam bored into the suit, and opened a small hole. The borg slowly put
the needle up to the hole and prepared for insertion.

"PRIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS!!!!" Linna's voice was extremely loud and determined.
Priss felt the penetration of the needle into her body as Linna engaged
several of the borg that had been holding her legs down. She froze as her
stomach began to feel icy cool. Death she did not fear, but somehow she knew
that was not what awaited her. A beam of pulsating red energy slammed into
the borg above her, causing it to collapse the needle jabbed further into her
body. She screamed and threw the dead borg from her body. Another borg began
to take the dead one's place, but as it released her arm Priss broke from the
borg's hold. She bolted back into an upright position and began descimating
everything in her path.

Linna sliced through several of the Borg. she noted that if this many
boomers had attacked her, she would be dead.. She plunged her knucklebomber
into a borg stomach and detonated it. What organic material remained in the
borg exploded out of its back. She took quick count and was relieved to
notice that the borg were running low on troops. The people with the laser
weapons charged out of their cover and finished off the Borg in a spectacular
show of pyrotechnics and weapons power.

Priss collapsed, exhausted. She was among hundreds of dead borg, but she
could care less. She breathed heavily for a few seconds. she looked up and
saw the commander aiming his weapon directly at her."Medscanner!" He
commanded to his men. "You in the blue suit, don't move!" Priss was pissed
beyond her wildest dreams but wisely did not show it.

A man ran up a few feet away from Priss and held an instrument up to her
stomach area. "She's clear sir." he reported after a few seconds. he pulled
out an instrument which fired a sort of laser at Priss's exoposed area, the
bleeding stopped, and the wound closed. The man with the weapon holstered it
and approached them when a loud *CLANG* caused him to duck and pull out his
weapon. He aimed past Priss, who turned as well. A borg body flew from the
alley, and landed in the street. A red hardsuit emerged, walking confidently
towards her fellow Knight Sabers. "That's what you get. Assimilate me? I
don't really think so!" She then noticed the people wearing odd clothes
standing around Priss and Linna. "Uh, who are these people?" She asked, now
completely confused.

Priss turned and faced the man who was apperantly their leader. "Yeah,
exactly who are you anyway?" The man began to speak but was interrupted by
Linna screaming. Priss and Nene ran into the building that Linna had entered
only seconds ago.

"What Linna?" Priss asked loudly, a slight tinge of fright barely showing in
her voice. "Sy-... Sylia's gone..." Linna pointed at the helmet, which was
completely crushed. Priss turned to the man who only a moment ago was aiming
a weapon at her. "Okay damnit what the hell happened to her?" she screamed
wildly at the man, using him as an emotional focus.

The commander began. "I am Commander William T. Riker of the Starship
Enterprise. We need to talk."

PART TWO: The Knowing

Priss, Linna, and Nene considered what they had just been told. After
fighting and nearly losing against a new type of 'Commando' boomers, they
fought with what was appearantly aliens from the distant future that were
obsessed with spreading and 'assimilating' everything in their way. what was
more, the man claimed to be a commander on a starship. After hearing about
the borg, Priss could accept something like that, what really got her was when
he said he was from the future in an alternate timeline.

"...So the Federation fleet engaged the Borg ship. It destroyed nearly all
of our ships, but when the Enterprise arrived, we managed to defeat it. The
Enterprise itself was then being assimilated. The borg were taking over the
ship deck by deck. The borg ship launched several 'pods'. We tried to
destroy them but they went into some form of temporal disturbance. After
reaching Earth, we found seven billion borg. we then discovered that they had
travelled through time and conquered Earth in the past. we went back to the
disturbance and followed them through. We did not end up in our own past."

"And now the bastards have Sylia?" Priss didn't care about using the name.
She was angry and someone from an alternate universe couldn't use a Knight
Saber's name against them.

"Yes. They are likely on the Enterprise. She will be assimilated. All of
her skills will become one with the borg collective. The Enterprise came back
to stop the Borg invasion of Earth, however it seems that the ship is
incapable of defending itself right now. Tell me, are these suits of yours
common?"

Linna tired of worrying silently and decided she needed to say something in
order to survive. "We have the most advanced technology on the planet when it
comes to hardsuits, why do you ask?" Riker's face visibly darkened. The
'Knight Sabers' as they called themselves, had weaponry that could nearly
compete in the 24th century, along with armor to match.

"Whats wrong?" Nene asked, she was worried about Sylia, but if she could
take a borg on and win EASILY, she didn't see why he was so worried. Riker
took only a second to think of his reply "They will now know your weapons back
and forth. they will know your weakspots, and they will enhance themselves
with your technology-- "We have to get her back." Priss interjected. Riker
nodded. "That would seem to be the best thing to do, however we can't contact
the ship now. We need information." the sound of a distant explosion came
and faded.

"Come with us." Priss said, assuming the leadership position within the
Knight Sabers. "You are going to help us get Sylia back, but first we need to
go back to Sylia's place." Riker stood. "That would seem an appropriate
action. Me and my team are useless until we get orders from the ship."

The unlikely alliance began their journey to Sylia's Lady's 633 building.

Hundreds of borg stormed the Radison hotel in downtown MegaTokyo. the area
outside was a warzone. ADPolice was engaged in mortal combat with the borg
hordes.

"DAMNIT THESE AREN'T BOOMERS GET THE FUCKING ARMY OUT HERE!!" Leon screamed
into his radio before throwing it to the ground, smashing it. He ducked
behind a car, where several of his comrads were fighting from. Every few
seconds a new cyberware equipped instrument of death would appear out of
nowhere and begin fighting ADPolice's continually deteoriating forces. The
defensive line had already been broken and innocent people were paying. Leon
loaded his anti-boomer gause cannon and quickly took aim. He fired, the
magnetically propelled shell slammed into one of uncountable borg, sending it
flying back even as the shell penetrated its limited armor. An explosion
rocked the lines of the ADPolice, killing several of his good men. He looked
at what remained of the dead bodies, as his face became a twisted mask of
confusion and hatred. His unit was only one of over twenty ADPolice that was
being asked to fight back the equivilent of a full scale invasion. He turned
to the four people still surviving in his unit. His voice shook with emotion.
"Get the hell out of here. I'll try to hold them here for--"

"No sir!" Ryuoko responded. "I don't run from boomers, and I sure as hell
wont run from these bastards." His face was firm and determined. Leon armed
a machinegun that he claimed from a dead troop, and prepared to fight his
final battle. he stood. The things were invading various buildings. Each of
those buildings had thousands of people in them during any given hour. Just
as he prepared to fire several hundred large figures landed among the now
scattered enemy forces and began fighting hand to hand.

"Boomers." He said grimly. "Just this one time, I hope they blow the hell
out of something." He looked up as several GENOM choppers hovered over the
area. As he began focusing his attention on the GENOM choppers, several USSD
troop transports arrived in his area, releasing everything from powerarmored
troops, to battlemovers and combat boomers. the battle raged once again. He
only took a few seconds to rest before rising over his cover and opening fire.
Nothing was going to destroy or take over a city he spent most of his time
trying to protect. Nothing.

"Data, return control of the ship!" Picard thundered to the now assimilated
android. "I'm sorry, but I can't do that." He replied. "There is a new order
now. The order of the borg. Resistance is FUTILE."

A storm of Federation security gaurds flooded the engineering room. Data
looked at them, with fire in his eyes. "I admire your tenacity, captain, or
should I say Locutus. But be warned; the borg will have this ship or they
will destroy it. your choice." He smiled, and slapped a patch that resided
on his left shoulder. He immediatly dissolved in a flash of green. Picard
shuddered, and turned to what remained of his miltary force. "I want control
of this ship back!" With that he stormed past them and began on his way to the
bridge.

Hours Later; 6:42 P.M.

"... The forces call themselves the 'borg'. Megatokyo and all of Japan are
being swarmed by the horde of nightmares. The military says that, thanks to
thier timely alliance with Genom, the borg are losing, but are advising
civilians to stay in their houses. If you are attacked, resist with deadly
force if nessacary; there is nowhere to run-- wait a minute! we have a Knight
Saber live at Channel 10 studios!" The camera swirved around and aimed at a
white hardsuit.

Priss bolted to her feet. "Okay, this is where we act! We know where she is.
Lets go get her-!" "Wait!" Riker commanded from a position in front of the TV
display. "Wait thirty seconds. We need to see why she is at a TV studio."
He had a good idea himself, but kept that information to himself.

The white hardsuit aproached the TV reporter, and faced the camera.
Instantly, its right arm snapped up and slammed into the mans head. He fell
down, either unconscience or dead. Nene gasped at the display, her fears
growing greater by the minute. The right arm then pointed at the camera, and
fired a lancing green shot that shot by the camera. A man dressed in a Channel
10 uniform collapsed in front of the camer, with green arcs of energy flowing
across his body.

"I am Alleria, of borg." the hardsuited figure pulled off it's helmet,
revealing a face that was more machine than human. Sylia's modest skin was
several shades paler. Her right eye glowed red, and her left one was totally
void of emotion or feeling. "Resistance is futile!" The camera flew to the
side, and the sounds of combat could be heard, before the screen went blank.
Nene began sobbing quietly. Riker looked at her gently, but did not try to
comfort her. All he knew was that he was stuck in the past in an alternate
timeline, and had no idea of how to proceed."

"Nene, Linna..." Priss said quietly but firmly, "Get suited up. Were going
out again." Nene wiped the tears from her eyes, and simply proceeded to go to
the hardsuit bay. Linna did much the same, except her face burned with a
desire for revenge, something she had not felt in years. Priss waited until
the other Knight Sabers were out of the room before giving Riker a look that
was both questioning and demanding. He stood, and placed his hand on her
shoulder. He nodded slowly. Priss had all the information she needed. She
exited the room and proceeded to the hardsuit bay. There was a war and now it
had been raised to a higher level.

Part Three -- Allies... and Enemies
