appreciate some really great piece of work when we see it. For example, the
Academy Awards, the Emmys, Grammys, MTV music awards, and all those other
types of awards doesn't give away awards to make us stay up till 1:00 AM to
watch them. It is there to honor the best of the best. I mean, I seldom

I despise those things with just about every inch of my 
body. You can stay up late and watch them if you want. I 
just like watching the movies and listening to the CDs. The 
person gets more money than I could ever possibly dream 
about. What the heck do they need a little gold statue that 
says "Gee you are great" for? Shouldn't the fact that their 
film/album/whatever did well be enough sign that they are 
doing well? The one time I DID watch the awards it was the 
most artificial thing I had ever seen.
