First of all, don't ever feel obligated to give me C&C. Don't get me
wrong, I *want* C&C, but I only want that which is freely offered. So
no pressure, Greg, not ever. :)

The only thing I will say is: I'm not sure that Ranma, faced
with the prospect of being stuck in his female form, wouldn't
simply reject any romantic advances, both male and female, and
remain a socio-sexual loner; willing to accept his fate but
unwilling to exploit it on a sexually physical level.

In my defense, I point to the poll I recently conducted, in which 70% of
the responses I got indicated that people would at least be willing to
try changing their sexual preference if they had their gender changed
(apparently) permanently. I don't argue that Ranma wouldn't be among
the other 30%, but it doesn't make Ranma choosing to do so outrageous,
either.

This story suggests him giving up on ever becoming male again.
An OOC Ranma might. (Heck, an OOC Ranma might become a
prostitute, yakusa, or WWF wrestler, too. But *I'm* not going
to start down *that* road.)

Well, again, two points: This fanfic *began* with a premise of OOC
Ranma (I did say that in the intro). However, as again my recent poll
shows, Ranma accepting becoming female is much more likely than Ranma
becoming a WWF wrestler. :D

The story is what it is; a well crafted tale that's bound to attract a
number of emotional reactions.

Well, that was the purpose, really, to explore subjects I have not seen
explored in any other Ranma fanfic. I'm beginning to run out of ideas
for Ranma fanfics; I've covered every topic I wanted to, from Akane and
the psychiatrist to Kasumi the psychopath. Ain't a lot left over. This
fanfic has the distinction (I think) of breaking new ground in Ranma
fanfics. That's what made it interesting to write. I don't expect it
to win any awards or be considered a popular success. Heck, it was
written mostly because I *wanted* to write it, not to try and please the
masses.

One of my pre-readers warned me that posting this would make me the
black sheep of the FFML. :) The response has actually been more
positive than I anticipated. There are still a lot of negative
reactions, but not nearly as many as I thought. In that sense, it's
been a lot more successful than I thought it would be.

Anyway, thanks for your comments; I truly appreciate reading how this
fanfic affected people.
