Hmm...any more? it's been a while sense I've read Dune...or seen the
Movie..

  If you do the cross-over based on the movie, I'll personally see to it that
Kun-chan beats you silly with her @bap stick.  The movie is based on
the book, of course, but that is about all that can be said about it.  If you
are going to do it, do it right.  Base it on the book.  The storyline makes
more sense,  the characters have more depth, and the Wierding Way of
battle fits better to the Ranma cast, than the stupid "Hai tsa!" from the
movie.

It would be an interesting story though.  I say go for it.
