"Akane and I met Kasumi" - I, nominative, subject, correct.
"Kasumi met Akane and I" - I, nominative, direct object, incorrect usage.
"Kasumi met Akane and me" - Me, objective case, direct object, correct.

Okay... now... is it really this important?  When did this place become
nit-picking central? @_@
