The trouble with Sylia's calm response is this: Bert has been
investing his money, and by now has a clear understanding of Sylia's
hardsuit technology. If he's enraged enough.. he can simply build another
suit on his own dime. And more important.. force Sylia to have to decide
between allowing him his vengance, or having to _kill_ him in order to
stop him.

	This is a VERY real possibility in real life. I speak from painful
personal experience here. Long ago, I and my squad were forced to stand by
and do nothing while some East German Border Guards killed some people on
their side of the wall. One member lost it, and we were forced to
hospitalize him to keep him from trying to take on the guards with his
M-16.

	When a person decides, in their heart, that their vengance is
worth the cost of their life, it becomes extremely difficult to stop them.
I do not know if the Bert Van Vliet in our reality will choose to take his
avatar down that dark path.. but the potential is there. I know. I've been
there.

	Not feeling very happy at old memories, I remain...
