Speaking of translating, I'm starting Japanese next quarter. =) Another
nail in my otaku coffin. Can anyone recomend a good dictionary?
I've been using Kodansha's J-E dictionary (Romanji, with kanji displayed,
sorted in english alphabetical order) and "Kodansha's compact Kanji guide"
for the Kanji. These two books are great, but not always sufficient. When they
fail, I use the jdict program, available for unix systems, I think macs and
windows, and it runs EXCELLENTLY on my palmtop. program available over the
internet, from Austrailia (somewhere in monash, I can look it up if needed)
I haven'd been able to find a decent english to japanese dictionary, and
would welcome suggestions.
