One point about the gas attack, though: I know that this was
meant to be *another* attack, and therefor could have been
different, but the one it is referring to did not involve
explosive gas bombs. Sarin does not move and take effect fast
enough, thus an explosion that upsets people and drives them
away would result in fewer victims. The perpetrators therefore
opted to use a 'stealth' bomb - a packet with two chemicals that
mixed and produced the gas, releasing it slowly into the air.
Also, after the first attack, the larger subway stations stocked
an emergency supply of atropine in case of another gas-bomb. That
would have been able to rescue anyone who was not exposed to the
gas for a longer time - say, two to five minutes, depending on the
concentration.
Anyway, this was not meant to be that first attack, so they might
have used different gas and different bombs for this one. :)
