*BAP* That's my line! Kun-chan is always right!
(Patheticly attempts to shield his head) Ow! That hurt!
Anyways, members of TLG are never wrong. If anyone disagrees, well,
they'll find 11 twisted, sick, and purely evil psychotic Australians
armed to the teeth with varying instruments of death at their doorstep.
I'd say that I'm one of the *LEAST* psychotic of the bunch, and Miyu can
vouch for my level of psychosis....
Anyhows, Mr Wang's portrayal of Akane is so OCC, it's ridiculous. Sure,
Akane can be nice, and sweet sometimes, and does require Ranma's
protection from time to time, but your argument doesn't stand. I haven't
seen the OAV with Ranma and Akane in the haunted tunnel (because Kiseki
films Australia suck), however. Was that in the manga? Because if it
isn't, then that wasn't really who Akane is. Takahashi's Akane is the
only Akane. All others are cheap fakes in my book.
Yes, it's in the manga. Yes, Akane's scared of things that are MEANT to
be scary ... she gets scared with horror movies, scared in the anti-tunnel
of love ... Scared of (fake) snakes, etc, getting thrown on her ...
Well, I guess everyone has their fears. Are you sure about the snakes
and everything, though? Look at the story with Ranma trying to get to
the SOD-man under the Girls locker room. He throws all those rubber
snakes and such down at all the girls. Akane is the only one who isn't
running around shreiking, and she tries to calm everyone else down.
Then again, taking into the universal constant that "Kun-chan is always
right" (which you kindly reminded me of in your last post) I could be at
error here. Unlikely though, as Lone Gunmen are never wrong. Akane just
doesn't strike me as being as stereotypical as that.
