Point taken. I'm not that bothered about her being OOC, it's just the
way she is OOC. I suffer from Arachnophobia, but it doesn't mean I'm
afraid of insects as well as spiders. It's just that your post saying
that she'd be afraid of it "because she's a girl" came across a bit
sexist to me.
I've one of those pentagram of protection thingy from Quake. I don't
play the game, because actions games are simply too simple, but that
doesn't mean that I don't know about them.
No they aren't as simple as you'd make them out to be. Read the Quake
Deathmatchers FAQ sometime. You'll see just some of the advanced tactics
that you can utilise for playing Quake. There's a lot more to it than
just a gun in front of you, and firing at whatever comes in front of
you, trust me.
Actually, I'll use a nail gun. The description
of it says it is designed to keep heavy-firepower enemy from getting a
shot, and I think that'll work pretty well against the double barrel
shotgun, even though it is only the 2nd weapon you get in the game. And
Nope, I know a hundred and one ways to kill someone armed with a
nailgun. Circle strafing around them whilst blowing them away is one
such tactic. But anyways, we're getting ridiculously off topic here.....
I can talk about this forever, too...
Same here, but I'm sure that everyone else must be getting sick of it by
now.
Just like to point out. I actually liked the story, it's just Akane's
behaviour seemed a little odd to me, that's all. I think we've blown
this way out of proportion.
