Before I undertake the task of writing, I want to know >whether having Ranma 

use these

weapons.  One problem I foresee is the reader's disbelief >that Ranma has 

become

a Mousse clone...

	I know that in his second confrontation with Ryouga, Ranma grabed 
Ryouga's thrown Umbrella and used it to sheild him and Akane from  Ryouga's 
bandannas.  Also he used the various tools in his match with Kodachi.  As I see 
it, Ranma is very focused on training in unarmed fighting.  And while he has the 
knowlege and skill to use any weapon he picks up effectively, he will lack the 
"Weapon as an extension of the martial artists body" levil of skill that folks 
like Kuno and Mousse have trained years to achieve.
	So Basically Ranma will use weapons when he has to, but he will try to 
aviod the necessity.  Also when he's facing a Martial artist of similar skill 
who's trained in the weapon, he'll definately want to fight unarmed because 
that's likely the only way he can match his opponent.
