WRONG! Watch or Read the first Ranma chapter again.

This is called, creative invention, Mr. Cobb. We don't know anything
about Ranma's education except that at some point he attended a boys'
school where he met Ryouga, apparently a junior high. Certainly, we
would have to assume he attended other schools at least part of the
time. I doubt Genma was able to provide enough education on his own for
Ranma to function in a high school.

 > Makoto helped Ranma up. "You okay, Ranchan?"

WRONG! Ranma wouldn't let anybody else call him this.

I see. You travelled with Ranma his entire life and thus can speak with
Authority on this issue? Perhaps you are actually Genma in disguise or
Rumiko Takahashi?

Certainly no one but Ukyou calls him this in the manga, but then noone
else in the manga is a childhood friend of his except Ryouga, and
well..they don't exactly get along :P

thing you noticed were the smells. Not that all of them were bad...but
many of them were. Makoto pinched her nose, as did Akane and Ranma.

Seem to be slipping into 2nd person here, but then you change your mind.

this is you used in the sense of a generic person, not you the reader.

Fuji Baking [Supply?] Corporation.

Many of the cooks were already hard at work, and a mixture of
pleasant and pungent aromas filled the air. Makoto spotted her friend
Usagi, who was busilly crying...over onions. Ranma saw Kodachi, Akane,
and Ukyou all hard at work cooking. In one corner was a very young
looking short blonde girl with a flower in her hair, hard at work
stuffing items into a bento box...pink and purple and off-mauve items.
Strangely enough, the workareas closest to her were empty...well, except
for the unconscious people.

The POV problems are getting worse, and Shiko has TWO PLASTIC
    daisy's in her hair.

The POV situation is quite deliberate. It's called Limited Third Person.
