...t this is a must-read. Kevin's so-so when he's off, and mindblowing
when he's on, and he's definitely on in this one.

Especially liked the hammerspace theory, and much of the picnic was
priceless. :)

My only quibble is that it ends just before all hell breaks loose, and it
may be several geological epochs before we see part 2. Not your piddling
little sub-igneous epochs, I mean the big strata ones.
