You know, Thundercats was my favorite of the "Cartoons to sell toys"
series of the 80's.  Even more than the Transformers, which is saying
something.  The stories were well-written, consistent, and with
excellent characterization.  It's only been matched by the first season
of the recent "Batman" series.

Tying the Thundercats to the Jurai is fascinating.  It's actually quite
plausible.  You could go places with this.

I'm less sanguine about Mumm-Ra being a Thundercat.  When the
Thundercats first arrive, he knows nothing about them.  My memory is
fuzzy, but it seems that he has to learn about the Eye of Thunderra (I
remember an early episode where he disguised himself as Pumm-ra and
actually put his hand on the Sword before finding out that that was a
Mistake with a capital M).

Dang, now you got me humming the theme song (which I really liked). 
"Feel the magic, hear the roar..."

Now, one last admonition:  much as like these little snippets (and I
do), when are you getting back to the main story of Ranma 2096?  I'm
dying to know what's happening with Ranma and Akane a century after they
died.
