There's two reasons for this post. One-An apology. Two-I'll get
to that later. First, I'm SORRY!!!! You can all stop telling me which
address where those posts SHOULD have gone. It was a stupid mistake when
I mailed them that I sent them to the ML (I have the tendency to make
many stupid mistakes, but that usually only happens in school.....). But
when I mailed them was around the 10th or 11th. I have no idea why
they've choose to appear NOW. So, once again I'm sorry and I hope I will
not be receiving any more letters along the lines like: "YOU MORON, WRONG
ADDRESS."
Now, two. I believe we chewed someone out for posting that thing
about the virus that was a bit old. I'm glad we cleared it up, but we
didn't need to send them the kind of stuff I'm getting. But that's not
the reason I'm mentioning this. I'm mentioning this because while I was
reading my new FoxTrot book ("At Least This Place Sells T-Shirts"), I
found the most interesting comic. I was thinking of making something
like this, but there probably isn't really such a newsgroup or I could
actually make such a program. Take a look:
(Jason is working at the computer, Peter comes up)
Peter: What are you doing?
Jason: I'm writing a computer virus that I'm going to stick on the
internet. It's designed to infect the machines of users of
"alt.government.conspiracy.paranoid" newsgroup. At a random date, their
screens will go black, sputter for a second, then display the message,
"They are coming."
Peter (rolls his eyes): You might want to alert a few cardiologists
beforehand.
Jason: Then the helicopter sound effects kick in....
