A year ago, I wrote my first fanfic, 'The More Things Change'.
Maybe you heard of it, maybe not.  (If the name 'Nissanichuan'
means anything to you, then you've probbably read it, or read
a fic that borrowed the idea).

Well... time goes by, I improved my skills... I hope, and I came to see
the flaws in my style.  And then I read TMTC again...

this, in the opinion of Nigel M, my old co-writer, was a mistake.

To get to the point, I'm revising 'The More Things Change' again.
Lots of typos fixed, word selection adjusted, and the most major change,
I'm adjusting the personalities of the newcomers a bit as well, and
redoing continuity to make things flow better.

Am I worried?  Nervous?  Heck, yeah.

The original TMTC was well recieved, very well recieved.  I'm scared to
death that I'm messing with a good thing.  So, anyways, I'm gonna be
releasing the first half of the 'new' The More Things Change later this
week....  there's gonna be a new prelude, a new part 2, a few scenes
adjusted/added, one or two removed, and the whole thing looks to be in
about 14 or 15 parts, whereas the original came out to 10 or 11, I think.
If the general consencus is a thumbs up, I'll put it to RAAC.

I hope I'm doing this right...

p.s.  In two weeks, I _promise_ act I of 'The Pursuit of Happiness'
	(Sequel to TMTC).  Currently in rough beta and sitting at
	approx. 279K in size.  (mind ya, that's just act i)
p.p.s.  surreal world pt 4 I just posted.  Got a few responses back
	already, and from those it looks like the final version will be
	ready by this friday.  I've got a guest writer already handling
	part 5, looks to be a great one.
