Boredom. That's what I hate about school. Every day, the same
classes, the same lunch, and the same stupid homework. What's makes it
worst is when your stuck in a class and your have done all the homework
(I have semi-mastered this, I usually only take one or two subjects home
for work). Just sitting here in Math class, the last period, ten minutes
left before I can get out of school, waiting is WAY too boring. I would
let my mind wonder, but the last two times I did that I fell asleep only
to awake to an angry teacher, and the second time, it wondered into the
Ranma-verse, letting the Ranma characters see the outline for my fics.
Not good, especially around that revengefic thing. There has GOT to be
away around this boredom. Maybe I should fall asleep. I didn't get much
since I had to help move the pools to that island, set up the new
computer equipment, and take care of those scientists of JesCorp who were
"experimenting" on mice with the Spring of Drowned Girl Water. I've been
nodding off all day. Maybe I will go asleep.......
"Will a Jordan Sam please come to the office." The PA declared,
snapping me out of my doze.
YES!!! Out of this boring class. I started to grab all my stuff,
ready to go to my locker before going to the office.
"A Ranma Saotome is here to pick him up." the PA continued.
I stopped. "Didn't that revenge thing end?" I muttered to myself.
Worried, I began to take my time.
I walked down through the back steps so if he was in any offices, he
wouldn't see me. I peeked around the corner to make sure my ears were
working back in Math class. Yup. Ah man, I thought I got rid of him.
This isn't good. Maybe I can sneak past him. I started tiptoeing past
the office, another few minutes, the bell will ring and I can take a bus
out of here. Yeah, I can sneak past a martial artist, and there goes
P-Chan flying by.
"Nice to see you again Jordan." Ranma said, grabbing the collar of my
shirt.
"Uh, hi. Um, didn't you already get your revenge?"
"Well, no, not on you. I still didn't get to beat the crap out of
you." Ranma said, grinning.
"It won't really help you know. I have a pretty good tolerance to
pain."
"I know, I didn't come here to beat you up. You STILL haven't give me
any cure water." He said, getting angry.
"Much as I would love to, it really wouldn't be a good idea to do
that. You know, the messing with curse thing. It's seems to easy, or
something like that."
"I'm not here to talk philosophy, I'm here to get that cure. Now, if
you won't give it to me, I'll go to Boogle and get it myself. Give me
the TPD."
"I don't have the Temporal Plot Device."
"Your a terribly liar. Give it up."
"It's in my book bag." Still being hold by my collar, I whip my book
bag around fast enough to surprise Ranma (good thing to, that's probably
the only way I would actually get a hit on him). Ranma dropped me to
block the book bag, just what I was hoping he would do. I ran as soon as
my feet felt ground. He was of course right behind me, but I had an
idea. I ran up to the broken drinking fountain. Pressing down the
button, Ranma was drenched in cold water.
"Oh, you're going to pay for that." A drenched Ranma-chan said.
<BRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!>
Students flooded out of the room, crowding the halls. A big traffic
jam was created as most of the male population of the school ran to
Ranma-chan to get her phone number. Giving me enough time to blend in
with the crowd and get to a place to use the TPD. I would create a
portal myself, but I was in a hurry. Hoping Ranma-chan hasn't knocked
all those students unconscious by now, I opened a plot hole to Boogle. I
jump through, making sure the portal was closing behind me. It was, but
unfortunately, Ranma-chan was already through it. We were in the
computer control room of my house in Boogle. Ranma-chan once again grab
me by my collar.
"Okay, I going to ask you ONCE, and I'm expecting an answer. Where is
the cure?"
"Uh, in that safe. But it's computer controlled. Your going to have
to get past my new AI program to open it."
"Shouldn't be too hard. Bring it up."
"Computer, run file 00718A." The computer hummed to life as it
started up. "Ranma, I would like you to meet the new AI program I
created. Meet Fluffy 2.5."
"Meow?" went the AI as it came online. Ranma froze as a figure of a
cat appeared on the main monitor of the computer. "You rang?" It said
sleepily.
"Yeah, use the JesCorp Dimensional Warp to send Ranma here
to.......hmmm." I thought about this. I could send Ranma back home, or
I could send Ranma to someplace where she won't bother me for a LONG
time. I gave the coordinates to the AI and put Ranma in the Warp, making
sure she saw the cat the whole time. Then watched as she disappeared in
the usual bright light of the device. Hope I didn't mess up those
coordinates.
