In the Ranma magna, Ranko is a fiction that Ranma hides behind, but she
shows up a bunch as an independent character in the Fanfics.

Sometimes she's Ranma's sister, sometimes his clone and in one case it's
Ranma who's the fiction.

So I developed this metric for "Ranko Space" to quickly sort through the
Fanfics.

The label is: Character(Birth, Curse, Status)

Where birth is a symbol for the situation at birth:
    M = The Saotomes had a single child, a boy.
    F = The Saotomes had a single child, a girl.
    T = The Saotomes had twins, one boy, one girl.
    S = The Saotomes had a boy and a girl, at different times.

Curse is the affliction that has struck the children.
    Y = Nyanniichuan, the boy is cursed to become a girl.
    N = Nanniichuan, the girl is cursed to become a boy.
    B = Both curses, boy and girl switch when splashed.
    - = None of the kids have ever been cursed.

Status is what the curse is currently doing.
    W = Cold water causes cursed form, Warm water reverses.
    P = Only the cursed form is present.
    S = The cursed and uncursed forms have been split and exist
            together.
    - = The curses have been lifted.

So exploring this space a bit, we find:

Ranma(M,Y,W), the "normal" storyline.  Most "straight" fics lie here.
    (Note that Cat-tongue and the Chiisuiton switched this to (M,Y,P)
    for a while)

Ranko(F,N,W) This is "Ranko 1/2"

Ranma/Ranko(T,B,W) "Marital Arts"

Ranma/Ranko(S,-,-) "Careful Destiny"

Ranma/Ranma-chan(M,Y,S) "Nullifier 122"
