This has to do with a time early in the series where Ranma tricked Ryouga 
into thinking she was his younger sister.  Ranma dressed as though she 
were about thirteen or fourteen and had placed false fangs into her 
mouth.  She also plit her hair into two pigtails instead of one.  Of 
course, being thick headed Ryouga believed it immediately and then went 
and prevented Ranma from leaving the house, believing that she might get 
lost.
