I've been thinking about this during this whole revengefic thing. I know
I should be concentrating on my 'Heart of Glass' and 'Pact' storylines,
but I just wanted to throw this by you. I would also like to know if
this has been done before (or maybe I should ask how many times?)

Setting: A-ko has graduated high school, and has been accepted into
Graviton City University, as have B-ko and C-ko. A-ko has entered the
Business Administration program, B-ko is into the advanced cybertronics
classes, mecha option (natch) and C-ko is taking a totally unrelated set
of courses, some of which she has forgotten she's registered for
(usually she just follows A-ko to class).

There are several other students of note, including B-ko's goon squad.
But the two new characters I focus on are my own.

The first is an American named Johnathan Stark. If you caught the
reference, you get three brownie points. Johnny is also enrolled in the
cybertronics class, but in the powered suit option (he still shares a
few classes with B-ko). Although he doesn't bring any really unusual
items with him at first, he has access to an unlimited account, and next
day delivery of technological goodies from Stark Industries. His Unca
Tony has also entrusted him with a copy of the blueprints to a very
famous suit of power armor, which Johnny tweaks and modifies in his
spare time. When he meets A-ko, he falls *hard* for her, but is unable
to really let her know how he feels, since he is better relating to
machines than people. He has inherited some of his Uncle Tony's looks.
(If you haven't figured out who Johnny-boy's Uncle _really_ is at this
point, go hang your head in shame, then go out and buy a half-dozen
Marvel comics and do some research). B-ko generally dislikes him.

The second is a young man of indeterminate origin (i haven't decided
yet) who has lived in Graviton city for anywhere from three years to his
entire life (I haven't decided yet). I'm tentatively deciding on making
his father Eric Magnus, better known as Magneto, simply because I do not
know of any other super-type with the right kind of electromagnetically
based powers (if anyone has a suggestion, I'd live to hear it). As for
his first name (And last, I guess. Magneto must have had to hide his
identity), i have no idea, and I'm open to suggestions. He DOES start
out with electromagnetic powers, and he takes them a step beyond
Magnetic. He controls not only magnetism, but heat and light,
electricity, the whole spectrum. This would be great if he could
generate more juice than a half-depleted 9 volt battery. but he can't,
so all he really has is a great joy-buzzer handshake, at least at first.
He starts out as A-ko's friend, although C-ko isn't too sure about him.
He also secretly falls for our redhaired heroine, but keeps it a secret
so as to not jeapordize his friendship with her. He meets John, and they
seem to get along okay. For the purpose of this overview, I'll call this
guy Karrde Magnus. He is rather nondescript, with his only unusual
feature being his white hair.

Eventually, you get the inevitable A-ko/B-ko confrontation, with lots of
giant mechas. Karrde and John see the fight (seperately) and both wish
they could help. John remembers the powersuit desing he'd been playing
with, and began ordering goodies from Stark Industries, while Karrde
simply mopes. Karrde now realizes that A-ko is an enhanced human, like
him, but since his powers are so pathetic, he feels it has put her even
farther out of reach. Johnny has no such feelings.

At the next A-ko/B-ko confrontation, B-ko employs a type of gas she
developed in her neurobiology class, designed to weaken A-ko. It has the
desired effect, and A-ko is left wide open in front of a rather nasty
mecha with a really big gun. Karrde sees this and charges to save A-ko.
His powers finally kick in, and he manages to deflect the blast,
although the effort knocks him cold. A-ko is still about to get tromped
when a Jade and silver hardsuited figure appears and starts trashing the
mechs (guess who?). B-ko is rather pissed off by this, but the
mysterious figure blips off before she can get a good lock on him.

Around this point, the EDF detects a LARGE vessel incoming from Pluto's
orbit, in a fashion VERY similar to that of the arrival of the first
alien ship. It starts merrily wiping out EDF forces, just like the first
one, and its on a beeline for earth, just like the first one. This
worries the EDF a bit. The aliens aboard the spaceship hotel have a
totally different reaction, though: The completely freak out.

So, whadaya think?
