I've already tried applying for permission.  It may take some time to go 
through channels, but it will get done.  I hope.  I'm not sure that I'm a 
good enough writer for them to consider me however.

   On the other hand....so far, I'm a bit uncertain about the "Alternate
History" part of the title. It seems to be following the Anime/Manga
almost exactly. Will this branch off any time soon?

Well, I posted another part last night that will explain a lot of 
things.  There is a major shift in the storyline as of the second 
chapter.  It will be interesting to see.

   Will be awaiting the next part :)

Part three should be out Sunday or Monday.
