A friend has graced me with the knowledge of one such anime
entitled 'Maison Ikkoku'. A thousand pardons if I have erred in the
spelling. This same friend also graced me with the knowledge of
this list. ^_- And so I ask, WHAT THE HELL ELSE IS THERE?!!? What

        That would be All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku.  Read
Richard Lawson's fanfic.  I have never seen the show, but Richard
Lawson's 'fic was a terrific intro for me.  He's has a copy on his
webpage:

It's a terrific intro for those who haven't seen it, and it is also
very good at filling in the gaps in the first part of the series.
(And believe me, it's one hell of a gap.)
