being DESTROYED before I can graduate!

        As a two time graduate of Jayhawkville, the immediate question
comes to mind:  Why bother?
        The only time I hear from them is when they want money.

Well, you see one of the leading people in my field is here AND he's my 
advisor.  This will look GOOD for me when I graduate.

Besides, ALL universities beg you for funds after you graduate.
