Here's sort of what I was thinking about when I mentioned bad guys. ;)

| the rest of the known anime universe.

The universe has many wonders, some only a handful of beings
has seen. Space is infinite, time unending, and splinters of the
main branch of existance countness. Those splinters have different
reasons for their creation, but ALL are linked to one 'place' where
they keep a hold onto the life-sustaining One universe. That place
is here.
     The Conflux.
It's true nature denies an accurate visual perception of what
it is, but if one was to gaze upon it this is what one would
witness:
Behold, a sphere blacker than the empty void of space,
encompassing a size greater than ten thousand universes would take
and more. But despite the blackness, the inner core is visible as
a pulsating matrix of multicolored light. From this core, 'cords'
binding the other infinite universes stretch out from the blinding
center and continue to their respective universe out of visual
sight. Occasionally, new cords spring instantly into being, while
others die. The background to all this is a shifting mist that
holds no single color for long, nor in a predicatable pattern.
Bright flares of energy flare sometimes in these mists, but of what
type of energy is unknown.
However, there was a foreign object nearby, and it had been
there for years now, its purpose unfolding on the universes the
Conflux touched.
It was in the shape of a pyramid. While nothing to the
Conflux, its size was immense by human measurements, over twenty
thousand kilometers in length at its base, and the same in height.
The silver-like surface was covered with a pattern of hatches,
weapon openings, and other alien devices. Portions glowed with a
green light that turned the eye. And near the apex of this citidel,
it was as if the tip of the object had been sliced and lifted up,
but that was but a part of this fortress. The space created was a
mere ten meters high, and on the edge of this space two figures
stood.
"It's an awesome sight, rik te?"
The voice boomed oddly in the dark area between the immense
lower half of the pryimid and the relatively tiny upper tip. The
two turned away from the sight and moved at a fast pace toward the
center of the area. They did not walk, these two did not need to.
Still, it would be a while before they reached the speaker but one
nodded nevertheless.
"Yes, my lord, it is such," replied the female who had nodded.
She said it neutrally, but the one who had spoken knew her too
well.
     "You are disturbed."
     She hesitated, then nodded wordlessly.
"I do not mind, Willon'dora, but you all who are here with me
as my immediate followers have your different reasons for doing
this. As do I."
     "I know... But..."
The two stopped in front of their destination. There was a
small gathering of others already present. Some of which disliked
a few others greatly.
"Thik femalek isk useklesskkk," an inhuman speaker sneered.
Dora's eyes flashed, an aura sprang into being as she stepped
towards the one who had insulted her.
     "ENOUGH!!"
The voice of their leader/master/overlord froze all in their
place, then they turned to the heart of the citidel. There, a ten
foot wide column stretching from floor to ceiling shimmered. Its
ashen grey surface was in constant movement and the power of the
one inside was felt even through the impenetrable barrier.
"Enough," the voice continued more calmly as Dora settled
down. "We are here to discuss how things have rocked the jerrel.
The sensitive spot Dora has chosen was a wise one. Even now, the
creators and their creations war upon each other. They are strong,
and yet not strong enough. Perfect for the balance we need to
achieve the goal."
"We will battle, soon or not so soon," a quiet voice among
the crowd commented.
There was a moment's silence, then the voice within the field
spoke again.
"You may be right; a few have successfully repelled their
assults, even attacked back in their creation's homes. Which
further our purpose. There have also been such indications that
they will eventally notice us. One has even received outside help
and hints."
"Help?!" a brash voice demanded incredulously. "Who could help
them??"
"A true version of one of their creations who IS, in essence,
one of them. He does not know about us, yet; he works to prevent
our work but at best he but slows it. He has committed himself and
now cannot escape to give any meaningful help to them. Another, who
is many-parted, cannot interfere more than protecting himself. I
have made sure of that." The voice paused.
"But still, we may indeed need to interfere."

<End suggestion...>
