Man, it just figures that the week that I unsub from the FFML, one of the most
interesting threads in a long time happens. Hmmm. I guess I might as well
through my 2 cents in. This will contain some spoilers for a 'fic that I hope
to actually finish writing some year. :( BTW, thanks Skywise for saving the
'fics for the last week and the revenge stuff for me. Now I've got near 200
e-mails to clear out. *sigh*

Ranma 1/2: Ronin
The Revenge Fic

A young, slightly chubby college student who is wearing a blue, red, and green
T-shirt, blue-jeans, and aviator style glasses is sitting in front of his
computer. he dials into his school's network and opens up his e-mail and is a
little surprised at what happens.

"200 MESSAGES?!?! Man, I knew just getting the 'fics and revenge stories
from the FFML would fill a lot, plus that backlog I've had for a couple of
weeks, but this is ridiculous. I wonder..." He exits to the shell and types
in a quick command before ranting on, "3.5 MEGS!! My mailbox is now half a meg
bigger then my account is supposed to be. I didn't know I could do that." He
continues while shaking his head in disbelief, "Well, at least I now know how
to more then double my storage. I'd better get rid of some of this though.

He starts reading at a furious rate, and looks on in horror at some of the
things happening to the authors and then tempts fate with his next comment.
"Man, I'm glad nothing like this has happened to me. I must have been spared
because I've never finished writing my 'fic."

However, at this point, there is a bright blue flash that fills half of his tiny
dorm room. Faster then an eye can blink, the light resolves into three shapes,
which become three people. One, who forms in one of the few areas on the floor
that isn't covered in either books or papers, is a well built teenage girls of
medium height with purple hair and two large bonbori strapped to a backpack.
Another become a teenage boy of medium height wearing a red Chinese shirt, black
pants, and a backpack as well. Unfortunately, the only open area for him to
form on is on top of a pile of text books, which slip out from under him. He
throws his momentum into a back-flip and lands on the radiator in front of the
only window of the tiny box-like room. The third form become a slightly short
teenage female wearing a yellow shirt, pink vest, headband, and shoes, and
brownish-red shorts, as well as a traveling backpack like the other two and
arrives on the only other open space, standing on the bed. They all look like
they have aged much more emotionally then physically compared to what they
looked like in their more well known story. Wayne is, naturally, quite shocked
by this and tips his chair (and himself) over in an instinctive reaction
to get up and is saved from knocking his head on the floor painfully only
by hitting a bag full of dirty laundry instead. As he stands back up, he
recognizes the three people in front of him, but his mind desperately tries to
deny what he's seeing and so he doesn't believe it.

"Who the hell are you, and how did you get in here?"

The guy in the red shirt responds with a smirk, "Hello Wayne, or should we say
Stargazer? You said how glad you are that we never showed up. Well, we're
here now."

"No, way. You can't be..."

"I'm Ranma Soatome of the Soatome School of Anything Goes Martial Arts. Akane,
Shampoo, and I want to have a little talk about your story, Ranma 1/2: Ronin."

"But... but, I haven't even written most of it yet..."

At this point, Shampoo breaks in, "Shampoo say Wayne lie! Wayne no write where
people see, Wayne write in head, where we live it! Shampoo no like how you
make great-grandmother wipe Shampoo memory of Ranma and make tribe leave home!"

"Ummmmm, sorry about that, but you still haven't told me how you got here,"
Wayne quickly changed the subject.

"A short guy in a brown cloak gave us this," answered Ranma while he held up an
odd device. "He said he would be here to help us after he got his revenge
on some guy who splashed him with barneychaun."

"DSF," groaned Wayne. "I almost feel sorry for Spira. I kept telling him that
fooling with barneys would get him in trouble some day."

"Enough stalling!" Spat Ranma. "We came here to make sure you couldn't finish
Ronin and to make you pay for what you've done. You didn't think you'd get
away with locking me in a crystal that allowed some generic villain to drain
and use my Ki, did you? Not to mention what you did to Akane."

"What I did to Akane...?" wondered Wayne as he turned towards the girl still
standing on his bed, with her head bowed, eyes screwed shut, and her fists
clenched by her side. His eyes opened wide with terror as he remembered
several of the major plot lines he developed. Then, in one of the fastest
moves of his life, which he was now hoping to save, he turned around and leapt
for the door, while screaming, "Woah, shit!". Unfortunately for him, even at
his fastest, he had no more then a fraction of the speed of the three
super-martial artists gathered in his room, and was forced to stop short as a
backpack went flying within inches of his head and slammed into the door.

"Yes," spoke up Akane for the first time in a voice that made ice seem warm.
her blazing eyes zeroed in on him like daggers as she continued, "Lets talk
about what you've done to me. About how you created a pre-series enemy to
come after me. About how you cursed me with Nannichuan. About how you had
Ranma captured just as we were getting along. About how you made me train
under Cologne to get him back. And finally how you made me be the one to fight
the outrageously over-powered super villain."

Wayne started flinching as Akane's voice rose into a scream and she started
to glow red with Ki. <Ki?> He thought. <Didn't she learn some Ki attacks?
Yeah, she did, and one of them was a Ki blast. A Shi-Shi Hokudan like Ki blast.
An *ANGER* fueled Shi-Shi Hokudan like Ki blast. And right now she's about as
angry as Ryouga gets depressed when he thinks about Ranma and Akane being
together.> Another thought then occurred to him with amazing clarity and
finality. <I'm dead.>

TO BE CONTINUED?

Sorry if this isn't too good. I wrote this in one sitting and the only editing
I did was spell checking. I hope you like it, and I plan to someday write
Ranma 1/2: Ronin, but I'm a slow writer and don't have much RL time to do it.
