Ok, here's my disclaimer:

Because I'm a normal human being struggling in college with a workload the
size of a mountain, I am only able to write my crude fanfiction stories in
the wee-hours of the morning.  I will entertain C&C, but I will not be
responsible for GRAMMATICAL Mistakes.  For those, who demand immediate
rewrites and updates, expect it during Christmas...... I'm just too busy to
spend time on old works, polishing and reworking them.  But I intend to fix
mistakes later in the future, therefore I ask the reader if there is a
general comment (like "This story sux!" "I'm gonna get the entire ML to
flood your server and crash it!" "I'm going to cut out your heart, lungs
and brains out with a spoon") please write it too me.  I'm only 16 years
old, and I'd like to improve my writing skills.


BTW, I happen to think the script format is the best format ever created on
earth!

Also, this story was written well before I've seen other people work up a
relation between Nabiki and Kuno.  Do not bust my balls for the conclusion
of this story!

This is a rough prototype for a story on Ranma.  A really rough draft, this
is just here to test the waters.  BTW, just to reiterate..... I prefer the
script format so much more that the prose format.  This format is a
representation of the mini-movies that I let run in my dreams at night.

Romancing of the Two Tendous

A really bad, but sterile Fanfic by Michael H. Chen
aka (Zenki, in other realms like #anime)


PART I: Nabikis been tricked!
[Tendou Dojou. Ranma and Genma are out practicing in the yard]

Genma
	Ha.  Ranma, you couldnt even beat your old man if I was tied up an locked
in a barrel underwater!

Ranma
	[Punchs rapidly at his father] Well, well see about that!

[Ranmas fiercely concentrated in battling when he stops to look at Genma.]

Ranma
	Father! Your garments, theyre flying open!

Genma
	[Pauses, fighting to check] Why thank you.....hey! Theres no problem....

[Ranma kicks Genma into the Tendou pond.].]

Ranma
	Ha, getting slow father?  If your garments were really open, Id never be
able to summon my courage to attack such an ugly man, let alone touch him! 

[Genma-panda steps out of the pond, before he strikes Ranma, they hear
someone crying, a person who has never cried before.

Ranma
	Nabiki.  [to himself] Id never think Ill ever see Nabiki cry before.

[Ranma rushes to see what has happened.  Everyone else follows.]

Ranma
	[With a look of concern] What happened? Who hit you?

Nabiki
	(sob)Nobody!  (sob) Ive been tricked!!!!!!!

Ranma
	[expression changes] Oh well, Nabiki, feel sorry for you...

[Ranma walks off back to continue practicing with his father.]

Nabiki
	What!!!! (sob) No pity, emotion for me!!! Ill get you Ranma!!!

[She throws a rock and pegs Ranma on the head.  Ranma falls into the pool.]

Ranma-chan
	Hey you no-good, lousy swindler who got swindled, why did you do that!?!?

[Hearing Ranma-chans insult loud and clear, Nabiki bursts into tears and
buries her head into Kasumis shoulder.]

PART 2: Dinner.
[At dinner, everyone seemed to be cheerful, except for Nabiki.  She prodded
her food with her chopsticks, but she didnt eat at all.]

Soun
	Yes, Genma, today is a great day for the Tendou Household, our insurance
provider agreed........

[Nabiki gets really angry.]

Nabiki
	Good day!  I think today is a downright terrible day.  In fact, as I look
back, my lifes been pretty bad, because I got swindled today.  No one ever
complemented how smart I am, no one ever complemented how pretty I am,.....

Ranma
	[Whos clearly bored by this unusual outburst by Nabiki] Oh can it Nabiki.
 Everyone has their problems.  Since youre Nabiki doesnt mean you have to
have a perfect life.

[Nabiki bursts into tears and runs to her room]

Soun
	[Towering over Ranma] How dare you treat your sister-in-law with poor
manners.

Akane
	[slaps Ranma hard] Ranma you idiot, I never would expect that you would
purposely go out to make someone feel bad twice a day.

Genma
	I have failed to train my son to a level that I have attained in manners. 
My son has an attitude of a insensitive clod.

[This gets Ranma mad, he punches his father through the wall]
Ranma
	Who are you calling insensitive! Take this!

[Soun bursts into tears]

Soun
	My new wall, my insurance rates...

[Kasumi comforts Soun, and looks at Ranma and speaks seriously]

Kasumi
	Ranma, youve really hurt Nabikis feelings.  I think you should apologize
to her and beg forgiveness.

[Everyone, except Ranma, agrees]

Everyone except Ranma
	Ranma! Go!
[Ranma is thrown out the door]

PART 3: Ranma and Nabiki? (Sitting in a tree,  K...I...S...S...I...N...G,
First comes love.....)
[Nabiki is sobbing, and flipping through a small photo album of all of her
incriminating shots, various photos of Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan that she
sold to Kodachi and Kuno, respectively. ]

[Ranma, who swings from a rafter outside, and surprises Nabiki]

Ranma
	Hi Nabiki.  Im really sorry about making fun of you twice, will you
forgive me?

[Nabikis mind begins to percolate.]

Nabiki
	Im not sure.....can you do one thing for me?

Ranma
	Sure anything, I just feel really bad making you cry like that.  I mean
Ive never seen you cry....before.

[Nabiki smiles faintly.]

Nabiki
	Ranma, do you think Im pretty?

Ranma
	Ummm, yes....why?  Was that the thing you wanted me to do?

Nabiki
	No, I want you to be my boyfriend.

[She reaches up and hugs in Ranma]

Nabiki
	You know, Ive never had a real steady boyfriend before.

[The entire family is outside, listening in on the conversation, and Akane
gets really mad.  She bursts into the room, and sees Nabiki hugging Ranma,
whos basically still in shock.]

Akane
	Ranma, you unfaithful lecherous fool! Ranma NO BAKA! I never want to see
you again!  Sure leave your future wife for your future sister-in-law. 
What incest you hentai!

[She punches Ranma, hard.]

Akane
	Nabiki, why Ranma be your boyfriend?!?! Dont you already have a
boyfriend?

Nabiki
	[shouting back] No, hasnt anyone noticed?  I have not had a steady
boyfriend in my life!  And look at you, Akane.  Youre younger, and you
already have a nice, loyal boyfriend. [pointing at Ranma, whos twitching
on the floor] and tons of men willing to die for you.

Akane
	[in anger says sarcastically] Well, he showed his true self minutes ago,
Nabiki you can have him...

Nabiki
	Really. [hugging Ranmas limp, unconsious form]  I completely accept him. 
Dont come back begging for him, I might not return him. [to herself] for
awhile.

[Akanes really frustrated when she hears this.  She storms out the door,
thinking How can this be happening to me again?]

PART 4: Ranma goes to school.
[Next day, Akane runs off to school, without Ranma]

Ranma
	Akane, will you wait up!

[He prepares to run off when Nabikis hand lands on his shoulder]

Nabiki
	Ranma, why dont we go together....remember youre now my boyfriend.

[Ranma mentally sighs and remembers the foolish promise he made the
previous night]

Ranma
	Sure, lets hurry were going to be late!

[Ranma and Nabiki are really running, when Nabiki accidentally trips and
falls.  Ranma quickly catches Nabiki.]

Nabiki
	Why thank you Ranma!

[She quickly kisses Ranma. And Ranmas completely befuddled.  Ranma also
gets the idea that someone just took a picture!  Ranma looks up]

Ranma
	Who just took a picture?

Nabiki
	Who?

Ranma
	Never mind.

PART 5: Hot Flashes (of a Camera!)
[Akanes grovelling at school, that she does not notice her teacher talking
to her.  Ranma is surprised, and he purposely gets in trouble to get with
Akane.]

Ranma
	Hi, Akane...

[Akane turns her head.]

Ranma
	Umm, Akane...

Akane 
	Hmph!  I will not bring myself to talk to an unloyal man!  Begone you flea
bitten, cur, parasite.

[Akane punts Ranma through the roof.  For some coincidence, he smashes into
Nabikis class.  Nabiki quickly hugs Ranma.  Almost simultaneously, a flash
goes off.  Ranmas too dazed to notice what happened.  But for the rest of
the day, whenever Nabiki got close to Ranma, there was an annoying flash!]

PART 6: Misunderstanding
[ Ranmas practicing with his father.  Ranma makes a spectacular kick at
Genma]

Ranma
	Hey, old man, I was wondering why whenever Nabikis gets close to me, I
see these flashes...  Its almost as if someone else was taking pictures of
us!

Genma
	No, its love, my boy.  You love Nabiki more than Akane.

Ranma
	So what makes you the Love Doctor all of the sudden?  I do not love
Nabiki, because I like Akane!

Genma
	Perhaps youre right, maybe these flashes are after effects of Akanes
abuse...

[A pair of hammers, thrown by Akane fly across the yard, and nail the two
Saotomes.  They fall like rocks into the pond.  Akane smiles to herself,
she overheard Ranma. (again)]

[Apparently someone else heard, too.  Nabiki bursts out crying, and leaps
into Ranmas arms.  She crys, sniffles, and basically bawls her voice out. 
Ranma feels like a worm.]

Ranma-chan 
	[Comforting Nabiki] Im sorry Nabiki, but thats true.  I like Akane more.
[Ranma, whos in one of his rare moods, gentlely hugs Nabiki.  Ranma sees
another flash, so does Akane!]

Akane
	You stupid idiot evesdropping, low piece of worm [Akane grabs another
hammer, and makes a leap down to the source of a flash.  The bushes shake
for a bit, and theyre empty!]

[Ranma-chan, from previous experience, quickly scurries, worrying that
Akane was talking about him.]

PART 7: Revelation
[Ranma is walking to school, carrying Nabiki, whos been basically pushing
around Ranma that morning.  Finally, both arrive at school, where a
beautiful woman is waiting at the gate.]

Woman
	So, Nabiki have you come to resolve our bet. [She sees Ranma and is
instantly attracted to him]  Hi there handsome, whats your name.  [She
gives him a kiss]

[Ranma miraculously pulls away (Wow thats some will power!)]

Nabiki
	[curtly] This is my champion for the bet [Akane and Ranma look at Nabiki
weirdly.  They suddenly realize...]  And here are the pictures. [Nabiki
produces a photo album filled with photographs of She and Ranma, in various
situations (out of context, of course)]

[Ranmas about to yell some stuff, Nabiki quickly grabs him and gives him a
faked up passionate kiss.  The other woman runs off and tries to grab a
man, apparently she has no champion.]

Nabiki
	[taunting]  Well, I guess you lose by forfeit.  Where is my 7000 yen?

Woman
	Its not my fault this crazy man will not allow any men near me...
[We see Kuno come running up...]

Kuno
	My jewel, my gem, the spice of my life, your extraordinary, dashing
handsome boyfriend is coming.... I shall be you champion, your knight in
armor, your amorous lover, your....

Ranma
	[tersely] I thought you loved Akane....

[The woman doesnt even face him, she merely pushes him off into the
crowd.]

Woman
	Damn, you Kuno, if it werent for you and that dumb sword, I would have
won this bet. 

[She kicks Kuno in the gut, and walks off, after throwing the money on the
floor.]


PART 8: Nabiki gives up on Ranma, or does she?
[After this incident, everyone realizes Nabikis devious plan. ]

Nabiki
	Im genuinely sorry Akane.  Im sorry, I created a huge facade to hide the
fact I needed Ranma for one of my bets.  Im really sorry.  Dont blame
Ranma for what I did.

Akane
	No problem, Nabiki.  I never doubted Ranma for a minute. [she smiles are
Ranma, who smiles briefly and sees the people watching him.  Embarassed, he
insults Akane.]

Ranma
	It was the thought of possible manslaughter by this violent tomboy that
kept me going....

Akane
	[Getting mad now] Perhaps, youd like to see what this manslaughter
would look like.  [She hefts two mallets, one in each hand.]  You have one
second,  BAKA!

Genma
	Run boy, run for your life!

[Ranma bursts out the house laughing, with Akane in hot pursuit.]

[Nabiki gets a tear in her left eye, she quickly rubs her face and walks up
to her room.  Kasumi seems quizical]

[Everythings back to normal, or is it?]

[Inside Nabikis room]

Nabiki
	Dear Diary,
    I finally know what I have been feeling these recent years.  I kind of
love Ranma, despite his faults.  I know hes not rich, he doesnt have
influence, he doesnt have rich relatives.  Hes Ranma, carefree one
minute, and supersensitive guy the next.  Hes like an uncut gem.  No
apparent value, but deep inside, hes great.  I didnt expect him to rescue
me when I almost tripped!  I didnt expect him to keep the unfair promise. 
I didnt expect him to stay with me, despite his true feelings.  I know Im
a fool to love a taken man, but theres always hope.

[Nabiki sighs, and puts her diary into a hidden drawer, in which are
scattered pictures of Ranma.  She takes one, kisses it, puts it back, and
locks the drawer.  

Meanwhile, Kasumi who was peeking in through a crack in the door, smiles
and shakes her head...

Ok, so even I would think it better that Nabiki gets together with
Kuno......

But, heck a twist within a twist within a twist is sometimes interesting.

Expect my third work in about  2 minutes!
