After the events of the recent few days concerning the C&C of your
recent work, two questions remain burning in my mind. I apologize if
this seems a little harsh, but I am very tired right now, and am not
quite as patient as I normally am.
First of all, you asked for C&C as critical as possible. Yet, when
I reported to you my opinions, you acted defensively, not able to comprehend
how I or the others who interpreted your work as Ranma actually having
sex with Ukyou could even see it that way. Why? Richard, that is what
C&C is all about: to get the opinions of others who see the world through
different eyes than yours. We don't critique to start a spam war or a
hassle; we do it because we care about fanfiction and want to see the
best writing possible.
Secondly, why was the response to my initial critique posted
publicly on the ML? It was a private message (believe me, I checked),
and to post such a response publicly was a serious violation of
nettiquette.
