Hello all!

I've been stuck on a story in which Ukyo kills Ryoga and I thought,
"What about _Ranma_ killing Ryoga, I could have him beating the pig
stuffing out of Ryoga and have blood every where, etc."  Well, this
is what came out.  I have the darndest time keeping to my original
ideas. :)

I'm currently working on Tenchi Muyo: The Heart of the Matter

"The Visit"

"Ohayoo, Akane." Kasumi cheerfully greeted her sister. "Breakfast is
ready and on the table."

"Arigatoo, onneechan." Akane said as she kneeled at the table. She
looked around as she picked up her bowl and chop sticks. "Where's
Nabiki?" she asked as she started to eat.

"Oh, she left for school early. Father and Oji and Obachan Saotome
are out looking at houses."

Akane humphed as she finished her meal. "It's been a year and they
are _now_ looking for a new home?"

"Well," Kasumi replied, "their old home _was_ destroyed and the
insurance company finally settled last month."  She watched her
sister grunt as she stood up from the table.

"I'm off to school, 'bye onneechan."

Kasumi smiled and waved at her little sister and started humming as
she walked into the kitchen.

As she walked along, Akane glanced at the fence and sighed.  "It's
going to be one of those days." She looked up and waved at her
friends, they were waiting for her.  She smiled, "I'm glad I've got
such good friends who are willing to help me, even now."

The group of girls started nattering and laughing as they made their
way to school.

"Tendo Akane!  I ask you, once again.  Where is my osage no onna?"

Akane stopped and looked up at Kuno with contempt.  "Kuno-sempei,
forget about her, she's left and doesn't live with us anymore." Akane
continued with her friends as they passed the upperclassman.  "Nabiki
told you that months ago."

Kuno stepped in front of Akane.  "True, the fair Nabiki has said that
she will no longer provide me with pictures of my pig tailed goddess.
But, she informs me that I must ask you as to the current residence
of my true love."

Akane faced him and recognized the look of disdain on his face and
then sighed.  Almost every morning Kuno-sempei asked her this
question, every morning she replied with the same answer.  "At least
he'll be graduating next month." she thought.  "I'll talk to Nabiki
and she'll tell you want you want to know."

"Very well.  I shall wait on the honorable Tendo Nabiki."  Kuno
turned with a flair and strode into the building.

Akane's friends started whispering until Akane's stare quieted them.
The girls then made their way to their first class.

"I'm home!" announced Akane as she entered.

"Konnichiwa!" came the reply from the kitchen.

"Daddy, your home.  Did Oji and Obachan Saotome find a home?"

Soun looked at his daughter and smiled.  "You're doing well, today?"

"Hai, daddy."

"Well, Genma and Nodoka have closed on a house this morning and are
moving in the last of their belongings."  Soun noticed the shocked
look on his daughter's face. "They had been negotiating the past two
days and finalized this morning. They are now living a few kilometers
away."

"But, I didn't have a chance to say good-bye." Akane started to tear
up.

"Oh, don't worry," Soun hugged his daughter, "I'm sure they will be
visiting regularly.  In fact, they will be here for dinner tonight."

"Arigatoo, daddy.  Things just keep changing and it's hard to accept
them at times." she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I'll be up to rub your back in a few minutes."  Kasumi's smile
settled Akane's spirit.

"Arigatoo, onneechan." Akane turned and carefully made her way up the
stairs.

"It's Thursday," commented Kasumi, "did you want me to go with you
this time?"

"Don't worry, onneechan, I can make it there by myself." Akane hummed
as she enjoyed the back rub.  "But, I'll probably need help next
month.  Has Tofu-sensei taught you any more techniques on how to do
these back rubs? This feels better than yesterday's."

Kasumi smiled, "Just this morning, while you were at school. I asked
him to show me one of the techniques from his instruction books. He
was quite funny. I think he might have over done things on his
patient by trying to impress me. I don't think you want your leg over
your head." Kasumi giggled.

Akane started to snicker at the thought, then started laughing out
loud. Kasumi joined her. They laughed until they started gasping for
air.

"Ah, that felt good." Akane sighed, wiping the tears away. "It's been
a while since I've had a good laugh." She stood up from the bed and
bowed to her sister. "Arigatoo, onneechan. I don't know what I would
do without you, Nabiki and daddy."

"You better get going before it's too late." smiled Kasumi.

Akane smoothed out her dress and turned towards the door. "Bye,
Kasumi."

Kasumi waved and watched her little sister leave.  She stood and
glanced at the desk.  Her eyes moved over the pictures and settled on
one in particular. Akane and Ranma were smiling and waving. Kasumi's
smile faltered. She placed a hand on her chest, sighed and left her
sister's room.

"Tendo Akane! The fair Nabiki has informed me that you would be here
and tell me where my osage no onna is staying." Kuno Tatewaki
blocked her way to the entrance.

"Kuno-sempei, I don't have the time for this! Leave me alone!"

"It cost me dearly for this information and I will have my answer!"
Kuno's voice was emphatic and his face dead serious.

"All right, Kuno-sempei, I'll tell you.  Let's go over to those
benches." He followed her and remained standing as she sat down. She
looked up at him and took a deep breath. "I haven't seen her for the
past six months. But your pig tailed girl visits Ranma quite
regularly.  She seduced him before our failed attempt to get married.
She's pregnant and is due in two months. She wants nothing to do with
you or anyone else." Akane looked down at the ground. "She said that
she hated everyone and that she at least had something to remind her
of Ranma." Tears started to run down her cheeks. "Forget about her,
Kuno-sempei, she wants nothing to do with you or me."

"So, Ranma defiled my pig tailed goddess, also. If it was within my
power, I would make Ranma pay for the lives he has destroyed!" Kuno
hesitated, "She has made her choice. I will remember my love for her
and you, Tendo Akane, but our lives will now be forever separate."

Akane wiped the tears from her eyes and watched Kuno leave. "I hated
lying to him like that, but it was the only way I could get rid of
him." She stood and straightened herself. "It's time." she said to no
one.

"Saotome Ranma."

Akane stood and walked towards the guard. He waved his hand held
metal detector about her and motioned for her to enter. She stepped
through the door and walked to an empty chair.  She sat down and
looked at the glass and the phone.  Her eyes lit up as Ranma was led
to the other side of the cubicle.  She stood and placed her hand on
the cold glass. Ranma reached his hand toward hers and held it on his
side of the glass. She waited, but couldn't feel anything through the
thick glass.

Ranma picked up the phone, Akane did like wise.

"My, how you have grown." Ranma commented as he looked her up and
down."

"It's your fault, you know." She blushed and sat down, as did Ranma.

"How are things at home, Akane? Mother and pop stopped by yesterday
and said they had picked out a house."

"Daddy said they closed on it this morning and they've already moved
in."

"How are you doing, are you following Tofu-sensei's instructions?"

"Hai. I just wish it could be you rubbing my back and not Kasumi. She
does a good job, but I know you could do better."  She smiled at him.

Ranma's voice faltered. "I miss you Akane. I miss your smile, your
touch, your smell. I love you Akane, I just wish I could show you."

"You already did," she giggled, "but I know what you mean.  I love
you, too, Ranma."

"How is everyone else doing?" Ranma asked, trying to change the
subject.

"Well, Nabiki's calmed down now. She's found some other sources of
income to replace her Kuno picture sales. Oh, by the way. Kuno met me
on my way here, wanting to know where his 'osage no onna' was. I told
him that I haven't seen her for six months and that she was
pregnant."

Ranma rolled his eyes, "Akane!"

"Well, he _did_ renounce claims to her, so I guess it was worth it."
she snickered.

"At least he isn't bothering you anymore."

"Oh, last week, Tsubasa was arrested for stalking Ukyo!"

"Nani?"

She's been a little more ruthless since you were sentenced and I
guess she got fed up with him.  The police kept him under
surveillance for two weeks, before they nailed him."

"I should have done that to Shampoo." Ranma thought out loud.

"Well, Nabiki _did_ get her deported for what her and Ukyo did at our
first attempt to get married."

"Heh, Mousse and the old ghoul followed her back to China. I don't
think I'll ever be able pay Nabiki back for that one."

"Have you talked to the warden, yet?" A look of pleading and hope was
on her face.

"Yeah, he said that he would allow it if you requested it in person.
They have a priest here who performs these ceremonies as part of his
duties."

"Is he a Shinto priest?"

"I'm not sure.  He's done Shinto and Buddhist ceremonies and even
some western ceremonies."

"I'll meet with the warden on my way out and make plans for next
Thursday and invite as many as I can."

"I'm sorry for not marrying you sooner, Akane. It's just that these
past six months have been a roller coaster ride."

Akane nodded. "It took me a couple months to recover from the
sentencing. Not to mention dealing with Ryoga's death."

Ranma winced. "If he would have just stopped attacking me, we
wouldn't be separated like this."

Akane stared at Ranma, "You could have pleaded self defense and won,
Ranma! He always threatened to kill you!"

Ranma sighed, "We've been through this before, Akane. I plead guilty
to manslaughter, because I'm a martial artist.  I should have been
able to stop him without having to kill him.  I made a mistake and it
cost Ryoga his life."

"It's still hard to believe that he was P-chan.  He must have
stumbled in on us and that just sent him over the edge." Akane looked
down at her stomach and rubbed it absent mindedly.

"I'll be out in six months, Akane, and I'll be the best husband,
ever!"

Akane looked up at Ranma and smiled, teary eyed. She began to speak
when a guard walked up to Ranma. "Times up, Saotome-san, back to your
cell."

"I love you Akane."

"I love you Ranma."

They blew each other a kiss and Akane watched as Ranma was lead away.

"I'll be waiting, Ranma."
