Ok....for the last month, it seems that there has been nothing but
Ranma fics comming trhough the list, with the exception of the BGC one that
showed up recently....

        Always been that way, there have been a few analysis' of the
reasons behind it and such but actually the ratio has been changing in the
past few months in favor of Sailor Moon and BGC.
        Personally I only read Ranma fics and crossovers but that's because
I don't know enough about SM or BGC to realy get into it.  I've seen two
episodes of SM and probably about the same for BGC (although I listen to
the first CD all the time)  The atraction to BGC for me is the music, any
fic I read would go completely over my head.

       Just how many people are writing "Pure" (Non-crossover) Ranma fics?
Come on...be honest....raise you hand....

        *raise hand* a bunch, only one in the can though.

This is starting to be come the "Ranma Fanfic Mailing list".  I think I was
first disstressed when some asked to join "wanting to know more about Ranma"
(I think that was it).

        Actually alot of information on Ranma gets thrown around this list.
As long as they're pretty good about what they post I say let em join.

       Can you people think of something else to write? I don't mind Xovers
with other series with Ranma...but try to write some fics based on other
things...like YUA, Gunsimth Cats, Loddoss, Lupin, City Hunter, Tenchi! I'd
love a another tenchi fic!

        The only other series I could come close to would be YouGenKaisha(I
was planning one but couldn't remember the names), El Hazard(couldn't
figure out when/where to write about), Macross/Macross Plus(came up with an
interesting crossover idea), Tenchi Muyo(just couldn't think of a good
plot), Akira(pretty much fine the way it was), and Ah Megamisama(I would
but I haven't kept up with the series and I know there's a bunch of people
I don't know.)
        Even with these series I'd have to rewatch the various tapes again
to keep all the names straight.  Some of these are rather closed series.
They don't leave much good room for anything besides crossovers, for me at
least.
