What the hell is wrong with you people?!?!?! WW said *NO MORE SPAM*
And what do you all do??? Just look at your self's! I wouldn't be the least
surprised
if WW just stoped this ML forever.
So if you care about this list at all, just shut the hell up, or
unsubscribe.
This is the *FANFIC* mailing list remember? If you have to say something
off the subject. then do it through private mail.
That is all I have to say.
I just got internet access again! Anyway, I've been back for less than an
hour, and I haven't actually seen what all this fuss is about...but why
can't we post stuff on the ML about the state of the ML? Sure it's not
fanfics, but it's definitely not spam either!
Well...I must have missed Mr. Murphy's rant somewhere.
As for your position, Mr. Murphy, some of the spam should not be on.
Personally, I thought that little Ukyou argument a week or two ago was
taking spam just a little too far.
However, much of the spam serves a useful purpose. Many writers have a
question or two about the character of a particular series, or need help
in locating some 'fic, or wish to test a 'fic idea on the general
public, or have a slightly off-color idea about a series. This "spam"
helps to improve the nature of our writing, which is the first purpose
of this mailing list. Occasionally, these discussions go too far,
resulting in problems like the argument mentioned above.
In recent days, the spam has died down, largely due to the crackdown on
the ML and the subsequent steps taken by White Wolf. Hopefully, this
reduction is sufficient. Let it be for now.
Now that I have everyone's attention and done some "constructive" spam,
it's time for some more off-topic stuff with this message. I've heard
about this "Ranma 1/2 Best 100" CD collection that was just released in
Japan. Does anyone have any information on this, i.e. songs,
approximate American price (7800 yen in Japan), etc.? Please respond by
private email, for obvious reasons.
