If it's done with that in mind, it *is* funny, but from most
occasions where I read it, I just got the impression that the
author had no idea what Go is, and just copied it down from
another fanfic.

You don't need to keep score, since it's only calculated at the

spaces, it is killed and the pieces are removed. At least that's
how I always saw it played.
