Well, I have to say this is pretty good.  The idea of Ranma being
thought dead or coming back after a long time is a well-worn one, as is
the tearful reunion.  The idea of Ranma getting rid of his cursed form
by having his female form split off and turned into his daughter is new,
however.  Your writing is excellent; good dialogue and good
characterizations.  I'm looking forward to the next bit.

Just one thing that bothered me about the plot:  Would Ranma really wait
so long to return?  It seems to me his love for Akane has always been
the driving force in his life, and no matter how much he might have
feared a reunion, his *need* for Akane would outweigh that.  I know you
wanted Ranko to be old enough to talk; is there another way to
accomplish that?
