You sure you're talking about Ukyou here? I mean what has she done that's
sneaky/underhanded? Drug Ranma's food? No, Shampoo did that. Drug Ranma's
flowers? No, Kodachi did that.

Lets see. Who did the anti-tunnle of love? Ukyou. Who tried to sleep with
Ranma and see him naked in the bath while pretending to still be sick?

she's as bad as the two, as shown on numerous occasions in the manga.
Especially when she joins with them in trying to kill Nabiki, trying to
kill Hinako, and trying to force her valentine's gift on him.

Seems Shampoo was justified with the nickname "Not-nice girl". (Not that
she's any better) ;)

But only
Kodachi prooved she was better than Ukyou and Shampoo when she did NOT
try to kill Akane at the wedding.

OOOoooooooh. You KNOW that you are on the wrong side of the morality
barrier when even Kodachi doesn't sink that low. ^_^

and the sex-changed 'wife's' only abilities in any other
area is to cook and not beat him.

I could go into a long boring discussion about why people get married
here but I won't. Let's compare Ukyou and Akane's talents shall we? I
mean what can Akane do for Ranma that Ukyou can't? Ukyou is an expert
cook, is prettier than Akane, is much nicer to Ranma than she is, loves
him AND is willing to admit it, and is also a better martial artist
(after all, Ranma and whomever he marries will be carrying on the Saotome
School of Anything-Goes Martial Arts).

Most people marry because they love each other. Ranma and Akane love each
other, so they will get married. Nice and simple.

When peple marry because they are "the best choice", it's called a marriage
of convienience. They usually don't last too long.

Ranma doesn't love Ukyou
and only thinks of her as a friend, just like Akane thinks of Ryouga as a
friend.

Which is why Ryouga would ultimately lose; he'd already lost. Akane was
Ranma's before he had ever become P-chan.

And, besides, Ukyou's love is selfish. She
doesn't give a damn about what Ranma wants, any more than Shampoo and
Kodachi give a damn about what he wants. She'd rather kill off rivals than
wish him happiness. At least Ryouga left Akane to find happiness with Ranma
instead of trying to kill him at his own wedding.

Go Ryouga! He's come a long way from the Martial Arts Figure-Skating
Tournament. There, he said something to the effect of taking Akane when he
wins. Ranma showed great honor by fighting him still, stating that Akane
"isn't just a pet, y'know". And let's not forget the time he tried to
capture Akane's love with his little koi-fishing rod. (too bad he got Ranma
instead. heh! ^_^)

Doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. It's only what Ranma thinks.
And he wants to marry Akane because he loves her. If you want evidence
of where Ranma says he loves her, he says it in the final story. Also,

kisses and attempted kisses. It's obvious, too, that he enjoyed it more
than Ukyou's trying to force herself on him, too, in that manga where she
pretended to be sick - all Ranma wanted to do was get RID of her.

It seems that Akane has more sex-appeal for Ranma in her pinky than the
others have in their whole bodies if ALMOST kissing him can do that to him,
when even full-body contact can't for Shamp's and Ukyou.

Game, set, and match!

Please show me some proof, in the manga, of where Ranma loves Ukyou. Is
it, perhaps, only in your own mind? If so, then that's only your opinion,
not even based on facts. Please provide facts, supporting your opinion.

If you can't find any facts, then WHY do you think this way? Just because
she's your favourite character? Even so, you shouldn't say that Ranma
thinks one thing (ie. you saying that Ranma loves her) when he doesn't.
