I agree that this would be the best way but people are lazy and they think
its much easier to mail the whole ML than follow the thread backwards or
even mail another person on the ML. :P

        A list would be a good idea, however it would be quite long and
posting it would be problimatic as well.  It would work better to either
have it simply available as perhaps a html site/ftp/remailer/etc or to have
someone maintain it and answer 411 requests.

I'm not talking about a list of *all* the fics that have ever passed
through this ML. I'm talking about an update listing stuff that
have been posted in the last week, last two weeks or whatever.

BTW, does anyone actually read the updated ML FAQ or even the first FAQ
they received when they subscribed?  Just wondering.
