Dear Diary:
Today is so hard to explain or describe, diary. It started out
normal, but ended up weird. You know, the hentai insults me during
breakfast, I hammer him in return, we walk to school, Kuno attacks.
But Ranma disappeared during lunch. I searched everywhere, but he
wasn't anywhere I looked. He didn't return to our classes, either.
I got worried, diary. I still don't know what happened.
When I got home, Ranma was in his room. I went to the dojo to
practice. Ranma usually watches or spars with me, but he never
stopped in. I got mad and went through our shipment of cement
blocks. Nabiki was mad that I used up all five hundred blocks in
one day and said that she wasn't going to order anymore until next
month.
At dinner, Ranma was quiet. He didn't insult me, or even thank
Kasumi, the dolt. Uncle Genma tried to get Ranma to talk, but
Ranma got mad and kicked him into the pond. I told Ranma to grow
up, and he stopped and looked at me. Diary, I've never seen such a
look of anger and pain. He just turned and left for his room.
It's been a few months since we returned from China and the fight
with Safron. Ranma acted a little strange the week after we got
home, but was acting normal until today. I feel bad about
insulting him, but he deserves it for insulting me all of the time.
Shampoo stopped by, with the excuse of delivering ramen. She
wasn't all bouncy and happy like usual. She finally admitted that
she was there to talk to Ranma. She wouldn't say why, just that
she had to talk to him. I wasn't going to go anywhere near that
hentai, so Kasumi told Ranma. He refused to even come out.
Shampoo started pleading and crying, but Ranma yelled through the
door for her to leave.
I didn't know what to think, why was Ranma acting like this? He
always rushed to see Shampoo or Ukyo when the came over. He was
just acting weird.
After Shampoo finally left, I knocked on Ranma's door and asked if
I could come in and talk. He told ME to go away. He said that an
uncute, macho, sexless tomboy wouldn't understand and that he
wanted to be left alone. So I knocked the door down, hammered him
into the floor and went back to my room. It hurt so much that I
just couldn't help but curl up on the bed and cry. I don't know
how long I cried, but Ranma knocked on the door and asked if he
could come in. After straightening myself up, I let him in.
Diary, he apologized! He's tried in the past, but this time he did
it without someone or something interrupting. I must have been in
shock, because he left and went back to his room before I could
accept his apology. I did get up and said through his door that I
accept and appreciate his apology. He said thanks.
I'm going to sleep now. I wonder if Shampoo had anything to do
with Ranma's disappearance today?
Goodnight, diary.

Dear Diary:
Just an ordinary day today, diary. Tsubasa barged into the shop
and I kicked him right back out. Konatsu even helped with the
door. The regular customer's were all there today.
Ranma stopped in and we talked as he ate an okonomiyaki. He seemed
a little subdued today. We just talked about the usual things.
Akane this, Akane that. I just nodded and listened, I'm glad we
are able to do this.
I just realized, Ranma should have been at school. Why did he skip
school? I have to get ready for the lunch rush, so I leave early.
But what was Ranma doing? Come to think of it, he did seem
preoccupied about something. Like he had something important to
do.
Well, I'm sure that he will tell me what it is. After all, I'm his
iinazuke and his best friend.
Ukyo
Goodnight, diary. I know my dreams will have Ranma in them.

<Dear Diary:>
<Ranma won't marry me. He stopped by this afternoon and said that
he wanted to talk to me alone. Great-grandmother said it was o.k.
and I was so happy that he wanted to see me take me out on a date,
or so I thought. Mousse tried to stop him and ended up an
unconscious duck.>
<He wanted to go to the park, it seemed so romantic. When he
turned and looked at me, I felt so light headed. Then I saw his
eyes, and a chill went through my body. He said that he still
wanted to be friends, but that he wasn't going to marry me, ever.
I tried arguing with him, but he just kept saying the same thing
over and over.>
<I never told great-grandmother about this, I told her that Ranma
was worried about Akane's cooking and that the Tendo's needed
emergency ramen. This gave me an excuse to see him tonight. I
tried talking to him, but he wouldn't come out to see me. Even
that nice Kasumi couldn't get him to come out. I kind of made a
scene, I didn't act like an Amazon. I acted like a stupid little
girl, crying over a boyfriend.>
<Diary, I promise I'll never act like that again! And I'll never
give up on Ranma! He's my husband, and he'll come back to China
with me.>
<Goodnight, diary>

Journal of Saotome Ranma
Morning workout with pop, ended up as a girl, again.
Tried to compliment Akane at breakfast, got the usual 'hammer time'
response.
Went to school for the morning and left for Uc-chan's at lunch
time. I needed some confidence before I confronted Shampoo. I'm
glad Ukyo is such a good friend, she even puts up with me babbling
to her.
Took Shampoo to the park and broke the news to her. I'm not going
to marry her. I told her that we could never be married and that
I'm going to marry someone else.
Dinner ended with me tossing pop into the pond and then going back
to my room.
Shampoo tried to see me and talk. I refused to come out of my
room. She eventually left.
Akane tried to come in my room and ask questions about Shampoo. I
didn't want to talk about it and told her to leave me alone. I
also said a few mean things and really hurt her feelings. I could
hear her crying in her room and tried to apologize. I think I was
successful, she stopped by later and said she accepted by apology.
Turned into girl once.
One free lunch.
Overall rating for the day, bad. Really hurt Akane.

Personally, parts three and four are better.
