Ok.  I have had it.  The Spam to Fanfic ratio was bad before, but with
the Gun/Military discussion, the Americans fighting the Austrailans
(sp?)(I am an American, but not bashing)  And the authors, well, whining
for C&C.  I am trying to get the C&C, my personal mail, and the Fanfics
off my server, and after one day, I have recieved 185 messages that went
straight to my trash bin, and only like 20 to 25 messages I wanted to
keep.  That ratio is way out of league.  I remember the bitching about
Spam about 2 weeks to a month ago, but it seems that most everyone has
forgotten about it.  I think the thing that set me off was the thread
that degenerated into what appeared to be a Werewolf/Battletech
crossover involving users on the list.  Pointless, but it spanned like
15 messages total so far.  I haven't even had time to read all the
Fanfics I wanted to review today, because I have been processing Spam. 
While I know that Spam will happen, this is going to far.  If you
authors want C&C, don't beg, Wait.  I know that I will get to your Fic
eventually, and it would be easier without everyone asking for C&C on
the ML.  If ID4 (Which I haven't seen yet) can cause such an uproar,
maybe everyone should just forget it.  Forgive my ranting, but this
issue needs to be addressed, and noboby else seems to want to do it.  I
joined this ML because I wanted the most recent parts of Fanfics and
reviews of my Fanfics, not a trash folder full of Spam, wasting 418K of
Hard Drive space.  That's a lot concidering that they were all spam
posts.  My Fanfic folder has more space used than that, but that is
acceptable, because that is what I wanted.  Please people, if you feel
so strongly about gun control, ID4, Culture Bashing, or other things
like that, maybe someone should start the Spam ML for it.
