This reminds me much of the second movie opener.  not sure about
the use of a lawnchair by Nabiki sitting around the house.

clarify that.  Strange that you'd think of the 2nd movie... half way
through writing it, I realised that I was pretty much copying the
cooking-OAV.

        Actually I was refering to the use of a lawnchair in general.
Nabiki sitting around listening to her discman, Genma and Soun drinking ice
tea, Ranma/Happosai shirt chase.  I think second movie.

       Hmmm... guess I'll hafta clarify that at a bit.  Supposed to be fall.

       Well, he snuck up from behind... so it seemed like the easiest
first target... and I think I mentioned that Ranma pulled his shirt back
on a bit earlier.

        You're right, I missed that line about slipping on his shirt.
Happy grabbing Ranma's ass the way he grabs her breasts just seems.. really
weird, even for him.  He's never shown an interest in that area either.

        Why is Akane missing at this point?

       Is it?  I dunno... what's the dif. between, say, a darkfic, a
sadfic, and just a 'fic?

        Nadoka is dying, Ranma starts to hate everyone, the Tendo sisters
are agonizing over their own mother's death, Genma gets the crap beat out
of him by Ranma... yup, I'd say this is a darkfic.
        I suppose the definition would be a story based around the darker
emotions such as anger/guilt/sorrow/violence/etc.

       The whole thing with Nabiki was a sub-plot that crept in by
mistake.  I wasn't sure if I should bother expanding it or not.  Think so?

        your choice, it could work either way but it just seems that even
Nabiki isn't sure how she's supposed to act.  She's sometimes out of
character within her own story.
        Anyway, I'm trying to add more C&C to the ML mix.  Not to mention
keep myself current, don't have writers block yet.. but don't feel like
writing either.  Time for a nap.
