At least it wasn't WinWord. Brrr, <shudder>.

: Note you read before story:
: Well, this is my first fanfic, so I've sorta got an excuse if you don't
: like it. 'Course, if I get really fried by flames I'll post the one I
: did before on r.a.a.s and then all you Ranma fans who download all the
: Ranma stories (like me) will have a totally crap story sitting on your
: disk. Not much of a revenge, I guess. But you WOULD be sorry...

Heh heh, this is almost tempting. }:)

: Anyway, Ranma 1/2 was created by Omnipotent Takahashi-dono and not me,
: so she must be really brilliant. It also means that I'm using her stuff,
: but that's okay because Japanese writers feel praised when people do
: that. Also, so many other people have done it before me, and not got
: shot, so it must be alright.

Well, yes and no. It's not all right *by the law*, but it's all
right with the Manga creators, so you won't have to fear a
lawsuit.

: The Street Fighter II movie is owned by Capcom and was created by
: Hiroshi Inagaki, Akio Sakai, Kenichi Imai and Gisaburo Sugii, among
: others surely. Or I could just say that I thought up the scene myself
: and have never heard of SFII, then I wouldn't have to write this bit.

Which scene would that be? Amazingly, I was able to resist
watching that movie (Surprise, Surprise) and therefor could not
determine what part of the fic originated there.

: Okay, enough of this. Hope you enjoy this, and don't think its too
: stupid, and that I should go stand in front of a train, because I'm a
: very obliging person. See you afterwards!

Nope, no trains from my side. In fact I found this fic pretty
good. I only read it this weekend, since I saw the reference to
_Streetfighter_ And stuffed it to the back of my unread fanfic
pile. Sorry.

The fighting scenes were very dynamic, the romance was still a
vital part of the story (too many authors include either one or
the other, but not both, thus making their fic seem imbalanced
sometimes), the characters were pretty much spot on, and Ukyou got
a *big* spotlight, which logically earned you approval from Zen.
:)

And from me. Nice work, Oscar; I hope you'll find time to write
more, before you leave for Japan. Oh, BTW, I like your decision
to keep the name of the Saotome Martial Arts School in the
original Japanese. I, too, dislike the Viz translations of it.
