I find it hard to believe that anyone could say that Nightelf doesn't
know a Ranma character well.  From what I've seen, whenever Ranma acts
particularly nice to Akane, she seems to react first with skepticism,
then slowly gets pulled into it. Then, when he goes back to his normal
behavior she gets ticked off. (can anyone blame her for that?)  After
all, she DOES love Ranma, annoying to her as he is.

Anytime that either one acts nice to the other.  The reply will be in
insults, until things get back to normal.

What?  I insulted him and he's still acting nice?  "Get away from me,
you imposter!"

Merely raping Akane would do no good, as she assumes that Ranma is like
that anyway, and has resigned herself to this fate.  ("My stupid father,
arranging my marriage to this pervert!  Let me know when you're done,
OK?")

Uhm... methinks this is a stretch.

Nabiki falls for him, when all of his evil deeds are revealed, because
he's so corrupt.

Why does everyone assume Nabiki to have absolutely no heart?

Uh... no.  I'll admit I'm not the most autoritative source on the Ranma
characters, but this is not true.
