You correctly identified it: It's a hair glint. If you look
around you, you will notice that not everyone has one in real life,
so there is no contradiction, if not everyone in the manga has it.
WARNING: This is supposing that the FFML leaves you enough of a
social life that you actually *see* someone, if you look around
you.
