Well, its really about the relationship between Ranma Akane, and Ukyou.

If you had read the Mange, you would have noticed some serious,
MAJOR, HUGE differences :) They should stick out like sore thumbs :)

Actually, even if you've only seen a couple TV episodes, some
of that stuff in part 2 should stick out, and practically
slap you in the face :)

Mainly, its the fact that the characters communicate emotions
at all, as opposed to erecting silly childhood barriers.
